Bronny and Bryce James made the whole Sierra Canyon team flex the Kobe 6 Grinches

LeBron James' younger son Bryce James is a Top 100 prospect in the Class of 2025 and his elder son, Bronny James, was recently drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers. The latter was the 55th overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft.

However, there was a time when both of his sons played for Sierra Canyon High School in Chatsworth, California. In one of their matches, the entire team flexed the Kobe 6 Grinch as a team shoe. Furthermore, both Bronny and Bryce James had red laces on. Check out the video below:

Bronny James played two seasons for Sierra Canyon High School. In the 2019-20 season, the elder James played nine games and averaged 6.8 points and 0.3 rebounds per game.

In the 2022-23 season, Bronny James displayed an improved version of himself and played 27 games while averaging 14.1 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2.4 assists per contest.

On the other hand, LeBron James' younger son Bryce James is in his senior year at the school. He participated in the Nike Peach Jam tournament and played for Strive For Greatness (SFG).

The younger James played 5 games and averaged 22.2 minutes while shooting 31.4% from the field. He scored 5.6 points, grabbed 2.4 rebounds and blocked 1 shot per contest. In one of his appearances, the younger James scored 21 points while his father LeBron James was in the stands.

Bryce James applauds Bronny's resilience after cardiac arrest

On Jul. 24, 2023, Bronny James collapsed during the practice session at the UGC Galen Center. The reason behind this was revealed later as a congenital heart defect and the 6'2" guard was released from the hospital after a few days.

Bryce James talked about this and how much he admired his elder brother in a recent episode of the 'Uninterrupted' YouTube show 'Top Class Hoops':

"You know, it's a great feeling just knowing that my brother, the journey that he's had, just came that far from the cardiac arrest to all the difficulties that he's had in his college career. It's amazing to see him play with his dad," Bryce said.
"I've always looked up to him; of course, he's my big brother. It was definitely a great experience just seeing how far he's come, like the journey he had to go through, being in the gym with him. It's always a good time. And then off the court, just being around him, being with him, and hearing his name get called. It's all surreal," he added.

With Bronny James already in the NBA, do you think Bryce James has what it takes to make it to the top level?
