JuJu Watkins had a strong first season with the USC Trojans. She showed a lot of promise when she joined the team and delivered for them as she finished the campaign with the second-highest points per game in the NCAA.

Meanwhile, Kaleena Smith from Ontario (California) Christian High School continues to show why she is the No. 1 recruit in the Class of 2027. Courtside Films and Courtside WBB posted a reel on Instagram that featured Smith's dribbling abilities which hoops fans quickly reacted to.

While one fan compared her to JuJu Watkins because of the way she dribbled the ball, other fans commended the other facets of her game:

"Who in the baby ju ju," a fan wrote.
"I like how she shoots. Gets her eyes up first, good release point, pure," another fan wrote.
"That was actually good defense by the girl in the first clip. Just a nice step back and shot on offense," one fan wrote.

Others even compared her to Anthony Edwards and former NBA player Jamal Crawford:

"Is she Jamal Crawfords daughter," a fan commented.
"Plays like @theanthonyedwards_ and even wearing his shoe," another fan said.
"I think my fav thing about her game is how she really dribbles with vision. She sees plays and still can handle ball pressure easy," one fan wrote.

How good is Kaleena Smith?

Smith also plays for Cal Storm in the Nike EYBL. This spring, Smith played 10 games and averaged 18.1 points, 4.2 rebounds, a league-high 7.8 assists and 2.5 steals per contest.

Smith has received offers from top programs like South Carolina, UConn, LSU and USC. She has made unofficial visits to UCLA, USC and Louisville. During an interview with On3, Smith talked about being undersized:

“Everybody doubts me or looks over me,” Smith said in June. “So I really have to prove myself and prove that I can play. Size doesn’t matter in this game.”

Which college do you think Kaleena Smith will commit to?
