Four-star linebacker Nathaniel Owusu-Boateng took a visit to Colorado this weekend to watch the Buffaloes take on the Kansas State Wildcats. Owusu-Boateng is one of Deion Sanders' main targets from the class of 2025, and he made sure to have a chat with the linebacker about playing for his team next season.

The 6-foot-0.5 linebacker spoke about his interaction with Coach Prime during his visit to On3 Recruits' 5-Star Flex show.

"Just being there for gameday and talking to Coach Prime," the IMG Academy linebacker told the show's host, Phillip Dukes.
"Just him letting me know like, 'why not you?... why don't you come and be that player? why don't you just come in and make an impact?' you know."

The Virginia native received offers from some of the best football programs in the country like Notre Dame, Florida, Ohio State, Michigan, USC, Georgia, Alabama, LSU and Colorado. Despite the Buffs' interest in Owusu-Boateng, the Fighting Irish are the favorites to land the linebacker, as per On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine.

The four-star prospect is ranked no.110 nationally and is the ninth-best linebacker in the country, as per On3 Industry Rankings. He's also the 18th-best overall prospect from his home state.

Nathaniel Owusu-Boateng talks about his recruitment amidst interest from Colorado

The Deion Sanders-led Colorado Buffaloes are in play to land the commitment of four-star linebacker, Nathaniel Owusu-Boateng. Sanders and company hosted the 6-foot-0.5 defenseman this weekend against the Kansas State Wildcats on Saturday.

Colorado missed out on Owusu-Boateng's final shortlist of six schools - Michigan, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Florida, USC and Texas. The linebacker told On3 about his recruitment in September:

"Each school is doing their job with me, but Michigan and Notre Dame are doing a really good job," Nathaniel Owusu-Boateng told On3's Chad Simmons.
"Texas would be right there too. A few schools recruit me on another level, but all six do a great job. The relationships I have with the coaches at all six schools are strong."

The Buffaloes have only acquired eight commitments from the class of 2025, as per 247Sports.

Colorado's class of 2025 is ranked 81 in the country. Sanders will look to improve his team's rankings by acquiring talented prospects. Landing Owusu-Boateng, the four-star linebacker from IMG Academy, could benefit the Buffs.
