The 6-foot-10 Link Academy high school center is slated to visit Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on Friday. Ahead of his much anticipated visit to the LSU Tigers, fans are rallying behind the Tigers, hoping to land the highly coveted and No. 6 nationally ranked player in the 2025 class, as per the 247Sports composite ranking.

One fan urged the Matt McMahon-led LSU Tigers to sign the basketball phenom:

"LSU, please, we need him.”

Others echoed similar sentiments, with comments like:

Although most hoops fans are hoping that the 5-star prospect will ultimately pick the Tigers, one fan weighed in with a different overview, commenting:

“Why would you want to play for anyone other than Calipari?”

They likely referred to the renowned Kentucky coach John Calipari, who has a long track record of developing NBA talent.

Interestingly, LSU isn't the only program pursuing the top-ranked center in the 2025 class. According to 247Sports, the New Orleans native has around 30 offers, but he has narrowed the list down to seven colleges.

Chris Cenac is a highly sought-after high school basketball player, which is apparent with the tons of offers he received.

Cenac is ready for the visit to LSU but is also considering Arkansas, Kentucky, Auburn, Tennessee and Houston. His visit to Arkansas on October 19 was positive, and the 230-pound center was impressed with the facilities available on campus.

“It looks pretty up-to-date, and they have all the new technology that you need for a college team,” Cenac said.

However, per the On3 prediction, the LSU Tigers and Houston are neck-to-neck in the race to secure the commitment of the star forward. While LSU has a 26.7% chance of signing Cenac, Houston isn't far behind as well with its 23.4% probability.

If Chris Cenac picks LSU, he will be the fifth commit for the class of 2025. The Tigers have secured the commitment of No. 11 nationally ranked player in the 2025 class, Grace Knox.
