Gilbert Arenas' ex, Laura Govan, loves showering affection and support on her children. The "Basketball Wives" alum was in attendance on Saturday as her daughter, Izela Arenas, and the Louisville Cardinals visited the Colorado Buffaloes.
Govan shared a series of snaps and clips via her Instagram handle on Tuesday. In the first video posted by her mother, taken from The Hoops Pill's IG handle, Izela showcased her skills on the court. Laura also posted four clips she made from the sidelines.
"So Proud Of YOU … You Dig You Grind You Shine 🤣 Great Job Mama Amazing Game #1 Fan Your Mommy ❤️🔐 @izelaarenas @thehoopspill @louisvillewbb," she captioned the post.
Izela and her mother posed for a boomerang as well. Laura added a frame from Izela's discussion with the coach in her carousel. The 5-foot-9 guard recorded 11 points, three rebounds, two assists and two steals in 27 minutes. Her effort bore fruit as the then-No. 24 Cardinals got the better of the Buffaloes 79-71.
It was a close and exciting thriller. Colorado took a 16-10 lead after the first quarter, but Louisville finished the first half with a two-point lead. The deficit dropped to two just one point after the third quarter. But the Cardinals took charge in the final quarter, winning the game by a decent margin.
Laura Govan trolls Izela Arenas' siblings on social media
Laura Govan doesn't hesitate to take hilarious jabs at her kids via her social media handles. On Monday, she shared a clip from Hamiley Arenas' Notre Dame Knights' high school game against the Vince Gondoliers. Although Hamiley and Notre Dame demolished Vince, Govan managed to make fun of her daughter.
"I be dying laughing at these games @hamileyarenas0," she wrote under a video of Hamiley Arenas falling during the game.
Similarly, Laura Govan posted a meme on Saturday to roast Alijah Arenas' hairstyle. In the meme video, a deer is searching for something in the grass with his head down. When he raises his head, some grass gets stuck between the horns.
"The haircut of every teenage boy right now," the caption of the video read.
