Former NBA champion Matt Barnes posted a heartfelt Instagram post for his twin sons Isaiah and Carter Barnes on Wednesday. He wrote a message for their 16th birthday along with a series of pictures.
Matt shared three pictures showing how the twins have grown over the years. In the first photo, Barnes held the two infants in his arms. The next snap was when they were toddlers, wearing matching clothes. The twins are all grown up in the last picture, donning black suits with different ties.
"S-I-X-T-E-E-N 👑👑 I’ve been at a loss of words the last few days trying to figure out what caption I can come up with to explain how amazing you guys have made the last 16yrs of my life," Barnes captioned.
"You guys are 1/2 of my WHY!! I love you guys with all my heart & I’m excited about what the future holds for you two. Happy birthday @zaybarnes30 & @carterbarnes35 ❤️❤️"
Isaiah and Carter Barnes were born on Nov. 6, 2008. The twins have followed in their father's footsteps and have blossoming basketball careers.

Isaiah also shared a tip his dad gave him, among other lessons.
"For this, it’s out of state," Isaiah added. "Big crowd. A lot of people trying to get in your head, but he always said, 'Tune it out, don’t let them get in your head."
