Five-star recruit Caleb Holt is ranked No. 3 in the 2026 ESPN 60 Recruiting Database. Holt enters his final year of high school and according to ESPN, has already received several offers from various programs like Alabama, Auburn, Cincinnati, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Houston and Ole Miss.
The shooting guard also has a $277K NIL value (according to On3.com). However, being a top recruit is not easy and Holt talked about it in a video posted by Swish Cultures on Wednesday where Jordan Richard interviewed him. Richard also asked him to talk about his daily life being a top prospect.
"It's crazy, it's crazy man. Your phone's blowing up like if you're like if you're projected to be a top player in high school, I think you should get another phone, said Holt. "It's a good problem to have because everybody's here, you got college coaches, you got interviewers, you got people who want money, you got people who think they know you."
Holt then said that top recruits have to learn to say no and just stay focused.
"It's crazy! You got people who just want to say they trained you being in the gym for a little bit for them you know what I'm saying so you have to also learn how to say no sometimes too cuz you can't please everybody and when once you try to please everybody you're going to find yourself like exhausted so I think just just stay focused really you know what I'm saying."
