Bourrage, a 5-foot-11 shooting guard, committed to the LSU Tigers in December, choosing them over offers from Iowa State, Florida and Illinois. Her commitment solidifies her status as one of the most exciting young players as she continues to shine for Davenport North High School.
Divine Bourrage nominated for the 2025 McDonald’s All-American
Divine Bourrage has been nominated for the 2025 McDonald's All-American game, joining future LSU teammates Bella Hines, ZaKiyah Johnson and Grace Knox. Together, they represent the No. 1 recruiting class for LSU in the 2025 cycle. The game is scheduled for April 1 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Bourrage’s nomination comes as no surprise. Basketball analyst Derrick Beechum, founder of OWU Insights & Analytics, highlighted her growth in an Instagram video in December.
“Divine's offensive growth is evident with her increased scoring output, efficient shot selection, and ability to dominate both in half-court and transition. On defense, her three steals per game highlight her elite instincts and disruptive impact, setting the tone for Davenport North's success.”
Bourrage is averaging just under 22 points per game, along with nine assists, five rebounds and three steals. Beechum added:
“Committed to LSU, Divine embodies the modern combo guard with her ability to score at all three levels, create for teammates, and anchor a defense.”
With Bourrage leading the way, Davenport North has posted a 6-4 record this season. They are set to face Davenport West on Tuesday.
