Zayden Walker talks about his commitment to Georgia Bulldogs

Zayden Walker chose Georgia over South Carolina, Miami and Alabama. The 6-foot-2, 225-pound linebacker recruit also plays both ways for Schley County.

On3's Chad Simmons announced Walker's recruitment in June, writing:

"5-star LB Zayden Walker commits to Georgia."

Walker reposted and replied to Simmon's tweet with the following message:

"It's all over. Go dawgs roof roof roof!"

Georgia's Class of 2025 also includes commits such as Elyiss Williams, Darren Ikinnagbon, Ethan Barbour and Ryan Montgomery, among others.

In an interview with Simmons, Walker spoke about his decision to pick Georgia.

"It was another great visit to Georgia," Walker said. "I felt the love from the coaches, I had a great time with Coach Schu (Glenn Schumann) and it just feels like home there. Georgia has always recruited me hard, they showed me I am very important to them this weekend and me and my family had a great time."

He even praised his primary recruiter, Bulldogs defensive coordinator Glenn Schumann.

"Me and coach Schu can talk about anything. He has been recruiting me for a long time and he is a coach I really trust,” Walker said. "He knows a lot about linebackers and I know he can coach me up and develop me.
"We had a good time this weekend. We talked about his plan for me if I went there and it was great to get some coaching from him at camp too."

In his freshman year for Schley County (Ellaville, Georgia), Zayden Walker played 12 games, covering 1001 yards and 18 touchdowns. Moving to his sophomore year, in 10 games, he had 365 yards and six TDs. In his junior year, he suited up in 12 games, covering 518 yards and 13 TDs. Walker played 11 games in his senior year, covering 53 yards and eight TDs.
