The Auburn Tigers are busy creating a strong roster for the future. Coach Hugh Freeze has already secured commitments from 26 athletes from the class of 2025, and they are poised to land more in the upcoming weeks. The Tigers have extended offers to 317 athletes from the class.
Among the 26 commits, two athletes are five-star recruits: Alabama-based duo Jared Smith and Malik Autry. Some of them are playing for their high school teams this season and are balling out. Alvin Henderson, the four-star running back, in particular, has had a terrific start to the season after a record-breaking junior year.

#5. Anquon Fegans
The four-star safety from Thompson High School in Alabaster, Alabama, Fegans has had a great season so far. Playing in Alabama, Fegans has accumulated 30 solo tackles and 43 total tackles in just six games. He is averaging 7.2 tackles per game and has already grabbed three interceptions so far this season.
Fegans is ranked No. 99 nationally and is the 9th-best safety from his class, as per 247Sports. He is also the ninth-best overall recruit from the state of Alabama.
He announced his commitment to Auburn on July 29 this year. Fegans will be in action this week when his team, the Thompson Warriors (5-2) take on the Hillcrest Patriots (4-3) on Friday.
#4 Jourdin Crawford
Jourdin Crawford, the four-star defensive lineman, has already racked up 35 solo tackles and 46 total tackles so far this season. He has led his team, the Parker Thundering Herd in Birmingham, Alabama, to a 6-1 start this season and is averaging 6.6 tackles per game. In his last game against the Jackson-Olin Mustangs, Crawford recorded 4 solo tackles.
Crawford is the No. 94 overall prospect from the class of 2025 and is the 14th-best player at his position in the country, as per 247Sports. He is also the eighth-best overall prospect from the state of Alabama.
Crawford made his decision to play for Auburn in October last year. The Thundering Herd will be in action this week against the Minor Tigers on Oct. 11.
#3 Jakaleb Faulk
Jakaleb Faulk, the four-star edge rusher from Highland Home High School in Highland Home, Alabama is one of the best players at his position from the class of 2025. The 6-foot-3 athlete has played six games so far this season and has recorded 40 solo tackles and 42 total tackles. He is averaging 7.0 tackles per game and has also recorded an interception.
Faulk is a highly-rated defensive player from the class of 2025. He is ranked No. 47 in the country and is the fourth-best edge rusher in the class, as per 247Sports. He is also the fourth-best overall prospect from the state of Alabama. He announced his commitment to Auburn in August last year.
In his previous game with the Highland Home Flying Squadron, the athlete recorded an impressive eight solo tackles and led his team to victory over the Isabella Mustangs. He will try to do this same this week against the Luverne Tigers.
#2 Deuce Knight
Deuce Knight, the four-star quarterback from George County High School in Lucedale, Mississippi, has been phenomenal so far this season. Despite playing only three games so far, Knight has accumulated 516 yards and seven touchdowns while completing 65.7% of his pass attempts. He has a QB Rating of 148.5 so far this season.
Knight is one of the best high school quarterbacks in the country. He is ranked No. 34 nationally and is the fifth-best QB in the country, as per 247Sports. He is also the No. 2 overall prospect from the state of Mississippi.
Knight did not feature in George County's last game against the Hattiesburg Tigers and they dearly missed their starting QB. George County lost the game 48-21 and slipped to 3-3 for the season. Knight announced his commitment to Auburn on Oct. 2 this year.
#1. Alvin Henderson
Four-star running back, Alvin Henderson, has been a force to start this season. The 5-foot-9 rusher has already racked up 2,034 rushing yards and 36 touchdowns through seven games of the season and is averaging a massive 290.6 yards per game.
Henderson is ranked No. 90 in the country and is the 15th-best player in his position from the class of 2025. He is also the No. 17 overall prospect from the state of Alabama. Henderson announced his commitment to Auburn on June 21, 2024.
The rusher began this season with a five TD performance and hasn't looked back since. In his latest game against the Red Level Tigers, Henderson carried the ball just four times but rushed for 76 yards and scored three touchdowns while also scoring a 37-yard receiving touchdown to give his team a comfortable 46-6 win.
The Elba Tigers from Alabama (5-2) will play their next game against the Pleasant Home Eagles (1-5) on Friday. Henderson will look to continue his dominant start against the Eagles this week.
