The Servite Friars are set to take on the Orange Lutheran Lancers on Friday. The Friars are coming off of back-to-back losses against the top two teams in the country, Mater Dei and St. John Bosco. Orange Lutheran, on the other hand, has won its previous two games against JSerra Catholic and Santa Margarita.
Both teams have 6-2 records; however, Servite is fourth in the Trinity League at 1-2, whereas the Lancers are third at 2-1.
The Servite Friars played their previous game at SoFi Stadium and will stay on the road against the Lancers. Orange Lutheran will play its third straight home game.
Servite vs. Orange Lutheran: Prediction
Servite's latest two losses against top-ranked sides might hamper its confidence heading into the matchup. However, history has been on the Friars' side as they have consistently gotten the better of Orange Lutheran over the years. The Lancers come into the game with a lot of confidence after their 13-10 win over Santa Margarita on Friday.
The game should be closely fought but Orange Lutheran will have the home-field advantage.
