As Michigan prepares for a thrilling showdown against No. 3 Texas this Saturday, Sherrone Moore’s Wolverines will have a prime opportunity to impress a talented group of recruits. Moore is set to host nine 4-star players across multiple classes.
Michigan already boasts the No. 15 ranked class for 2025, according to On3 Industry rankings, and this weekend will be pivotal for strengthening future recruiting classes in 2026, 2027, and beyond.
Nine recruits Michigan to host during the matchup against Texas
#1. Ivan Taylor (2025 Class)
4-star safety from Winter Garden, Florida, headlines the group of visiting recruits. Taylor flipped his commitment from Notre Dame and is ranked No. 54 overall in the 247Sports Composite. Last season, he recorded 45 tackles, six tackles for loss (TFL), one interception, one pass breakup (PBU), and four forced fumbles.
#2. Andrew Marsh (2025 Class)
Marsh is a 4-star wide receiver with impressive physical attributes, blending size and speed. Ranked #66 overall by 247Sports, Marsh is highly coveted, holding offers from top programs such as USC, Oregon and Michigan.
#3. Javian Osborne (2026 Class)
Javian Osborne, a standout running back from Forney, Texas, had an impressive sophomore season in 2023, rushing for 2,231 yards and 39 touchdowns. He holds offers from powerhouses like Alabama, Georgia, and Ohio State.
#4. CJ Sadler (2026 Class)
Sadler is recognized as both a wide receiver and a defensive tackle. He currently attends Cass Technical High School in Detroit, Michigan. Sadler is ranked No. 212 overall by On3 and stands at an imposing 5'9" and 170 pounds. Sadler is currently deciding between Michigan, Ohio State, and Penn State.
#5 Gregory Patrick (2026 Class)
The four-star offensive lineman and explosive edge rusher is known for his speed. He is ranked #124 overall nationally by On3 and has attracted attention from schools like Florida, Miami, Michigan and Penn State.
#6. Travis Johnson (2026 Class)
Johnson is a dynamic four-star wide receiver from Oscar Smith High School. He is the brother of West Virginia commit Tory Johnson. Texas, Texas A&M, and USC are among the many schools that have extended offers to Johnson.
#7 Jermaine Kinsler (2026 Class)
Kinsler is a four-star defensive lineman from Bergen Catholic High School. He is ranked No. 196 overall nationally by 247 Composite. Kinsler has received interest from Ohio State, Notre Dame and Penn State.
#8 Will Conroy (2026 Class)
Conroy is a smooth route runner with excellent hands and an offensive lineman, currently ranked #336 overall nationally by 247 Composite. Conroy has offers from Ohio State, Penn State, and Michigan.
#9 Brayden Fogle (2026 Class)
Fogle is a four-star tight end with great size at 6-foot-3 and 225 pounds. He is ranked #260 overall by On3 and is being pursued by Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State, and Notre Dame.
Sherrone Moore is a big deal on the recruiting trail. He is responsible for adding top-notch players such as four-star safety Ivan Taylor and four-star defensive end Nate Marshall, both of whom left Notre Dame for Wolverines.
The Wolverines are currently placed at No. 11 in the 247Sports Composite team rankings, a quick improvement from their prior standing at the bottom 50 only a month ago.
