Prolific Prep is one of the nation’s best high school programs. Competing with schools like Montverde Academy and IMG Academy, Prolific Prep consistently develops top players and features a roster full of future stars.
These are three of the team's stars fans should look out for during the 2024-25 season.
Top 3 Prolific Prep Stars to Watch This Season
#3 Winters Grady (SF, Class of 2025)
Grady Winters is one of Prolific Prep's rising stars. Standing at 6'5" with an athletic skill set, the forward has the uncanny ability to combine physicality and a soft touch at the basket implemented in his game and is consistent at both ends.
Grady dominated the boards during the Nike EYBL circuit, averaging a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds per game. His ability to stretch the floor with a consistent mid-range jumper and strong post moves made him a difficult player to guard and helped the team's success at events like the Peach Jam and Tarkanian Classic.
Ranked as the No. 74 prospect Class of 2025 by 247Sports, Winters Grady has committed to the University of Michigan's 2025 recruiting class. While he continues improving his game at Prolific Prep, he'll be closely watched by Wolverines fans.
#2 Niko Bundalo (C, Class of 2025)
At 6-foot-10, Niko Bundalo is a dominant presence in the paint. Averaged 12 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 blocks at the Pangos All-American festival and showcased his ability to protect the rim swatting shots and altering opponents’ drives to the basket. His footwork and hands are polished for his age, allowing him to finish efficiently around the rim and pass effectively out of double-teams.
Bundalo, currently the No. 30 prospect in the Class of 2025 as per 247Sports, runs the floor well for a big man, creating easy transition buckets for himself and his teammates. After committing to the University of Washington's 2025 recruiting class in November, he will look to show why he’s a good pickup by the Huskies.
#1 Darryn Peterson (SG, Class of 2025)
Darryn Peterson is the crown jewel of Prolific Prep's roster and is known as one of the best scorers in high school basketball. A shooting guard standing at 6-foot-5, he is ranked No. 2 in the Class of 2025 by ESPN, which he has proven time and time again.
Peterson is a natural scorer with a silky smooth jumper, explosive athleticism, and the ability to finish in traffic. He averaged 25 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists during the Nike EYBL Peach Jam where he led his team deep into the semifinals. Peterson also shot 40% from beyond the arc and 85% from the free-throw line. He's displayed the ability to score in different ways, cementing his reputation as one of the top prospects in the country.
Already hailed as a future lottery selection for the NBA, Peterson committed to the University of Kansas Jayhawks over Kansas State, Ohio State, and USC. Peterson's maturity on and off the court will serve well for Prolific Prep as they aim for another championship run in 2025.
