#5. Javion Hilson, Missouri Edge Rusher
Javion Hilson, out of Cocoa High School, is rated as a 4-star prospect, the 69th-best player and #6 edge rusher in the country, and the 10th-best player in Florida, according to 247sports. Hilson has reportedly over 30 offers from top college football programs like Michigan, Florida State, Florida, Texas, and more but he ultimately signed his letter of intent with the Missouri Tigers.
The 6-foot-3, 235 pounder, is an athletic player who can get to the quarterback with speed and win 1on1 matchups with opposing offensive linemen with good technique off the edge.
#4. Vernell Brown III, WR-UF
Vernell Brown III, out of Jones High School, is rated as a 4-star prospect. He has been ranked the sixth best wide receiver and fourth-ranked player in Florida, per 247sports. Brown III had over 40 offers from schools like Miami, Ohio State, Alabama and others but is staying home to play college football for the Florida Gators.
The 5-foot-11, 170-pound receiver is quick-footed, excels against zone coverage and has a knack for creating separation against man coverage.
#3. Jaime Ffrench Jr., WR-Texas
Jaime Ffrench Jr. of Mandarin High School is a 4-star prospect. 247sports ranked him as the eighth-best wide receiver in the country and the seventh-best player in Florida by 247sports. He received over 30 offers from schools such as LSU, Miami and Tennessee but he'll be playing college football for the Texas Longhorns. The 6-foot, 185-pounder fares well against press-man coverage and is skilled at the back shoulder fade.
#2. Solomon Thomas, LSU OL
Solomon Thomas of Raines High School is rated as a 4-star recruit, no. 2 inside offensive lineman, and 6th best player in Florida per 247sports. Thomas held offers multiple SEC programs like Alabama and Florida but will be suiting for LSU Tigers in the Fall. The 6-foot-4, 315 pounder is an asset in the run game and uses good hand placement to outleverage defenders, and play multiple positions on the offensive line.
#1. DJ Pickett, CB-LSU
DJ Pickett out of Zephyrhills High School, is a 5-star prospect, fourth-best cornerback and ranked as the no. 2 player in Florida, according to 247sports. Pickett held over 40 offers from schools like Oregon, Georgia and other alike but will be playing for a school that's known for producing talented defensive backs in LSU. The 6-foot-4, 178 pounder uses press man coverage as an advantage with size and his speed allows him to cover ground quickly and make plays on the ball.
