The United States has produced a lot of great football players overall but in this article, the top college football signees from the state of Mississippi will be broken down.

5,Tyler Miller, OL, LSU

Tyler Miller, out of Laurel High School, is one of the best offensive line prospects in the Class of 2025. He held over 10 offers from schools like LSU, Mississippi State, Alabama and Auburn. Miller is rated as a four-star prospect and the ninth-best player in Mississippi, according to 247Sports. The 6-foot-5, 315-pounder excels in run blocking and often wins one-on-one matchups.

4, Tyler Lockhart, LB, Mississippi State

Tyler Lockhart, a four-star prospect out of Winona High School, is ranked as the seventh-best player in Mississippi by 247Sports. He held offers from Georgia, Alabama and other SEC schools but decided to stay home and play for Mississippi State. The 6-3, 200-pounder has a combination of power and speed, covering ground in coverage and being downhill as a run defender.

3, Deuce Knight QB Auburn

Deuce Knight, a four-star prospect from George County High School, is No. 2 in Mississippi, according to 247Sports. He signed with Auburn but had offers from top programs like Georgia and Alabama. Knight, at 6-4, 206, has drawn comparisons to former Auburn and NFL quarterback Cam Newton.

He's a dual-threat quarterback with speed, running a 4.53 40-yard dash. He also utilizes his footwork to maneuver through the pocket and deliver accurate passes, but he can also complete passes from within the pocket.

2, Akylin Dear, RB, Alabama

Akylin Dear, out of Quitman High School, is a four-star prospect and the No. 2 running back in the country, according to 247Sports. He held over 20 offers but decided to play for the Crimson Tide. The 6-1, 200-pounder is a power back who displays good footwork and decision-making, reading the blocks and picking up extra yardage. Although Akylin has a size advantage, he still uses his quickness to evade defenders.

1, Caleb Cunningham, WR, Ole Miss

Caleb Cunningham, out of Choctaw County High School, is a five-star prospect and the No. 1 player in the state of Mississippi, according to 247Sports. He held offers from college football powerhouses such as Ole Miss, Tennessee and Auburn but signed with the Ole Miss Rebels. The 6-1, 190-pound receiver has a lot of athleticism and excels in the red zone. Cunningham is also quick and gains ground within his routes, creating separation from defensive backs.
