The schedule for Hoophall West, considered one of the most prestigious events in the high school basketball calendar, has finally been revealed. The tournament will be held at Highland High School in Gilbert, Arizona, from January 2-4, 2025. It will be an eight-team "Tournament of Champions."

This includes several participating schools, which will be bringing several 5-star recruits from all over the country to headline their respective teams.

Top 5 High School Stars Participating in Hoophall West

5) Chris Cenac Jr., 5-star Center - Link Academy (Missouri)

Chris Cenac Jr., considered the top center in the class of 2025, will lead Link Academy at Hoophall West against some of the nation's best teams. The 6-10 center is ranked No. 10 overall and No. 1 in Missouri by 247Sports. His combination of length, shooting ability, and rebounding skills make him a versatile player who can also play power forward.

4) Koa Peat, 5-star Power Forward - Perry High School (Arizona)

Koa Peat, the son of former NFL star Todd Peat, is a highly-touted 5-star power forward ranked No. 6 overall, No. 4 at his position, and No. 1 in Arizona by On3. The decorated young star has a knack for scoring and rebounding, having led his team to a Class 6A Arizona state title as a freshman and a gold medal at the 2022 FIBA Under-17 World Cup in Spain.

His clean jump shot and defensive prowess, fueled by his natural strength and long arms, make him a formidable opponent who will undoubtedly be a major factor at Hoophall West.

3) Tyran Stokes, 5-star Small Forward, Notre Dame (California)

Tyran Stokes, a top prospect from the class of 2026, is often debated as the No. 1 or No. 2 player in his class. The Kentucky native is ranked No. 2 overall by On3 and No. 1 by 247Sports. Regardless of his exact ranking, Stokes is undoubtedly one of the nation's top high school players and a major scoring threat.

2) Brandon McCoy Jr., 5-star Point Guard, St. John Bosco (California)

Brandon McCoy Jr., another highly-rated 5-star from the class of 2026, is often considered either the No. 1 or No. 2 player in his class, frequently swapping places with Tyran Stokes in various rankings. The 6-5 point guard will be showcasing his skills at Hoophall.

He is considered large for a point guard and he knows how to use his size to his advantage. He has an excellent pull-up jump shot and is most comfortable at mid-range. However, he can also attack the rim and finish if he wants to. Additionally, he is an excellent defender who uses his length well.

1) AJ Dybantsa, 5-star Small Forward, Utah Prep

The No. 1 recruit from the class of 2025, AJ Dybantsa showed his mettle during last weekend's Border League in Las Vegas, Nevada. He led Utah Prep to a perfect 3-0 record, including victories over the Boozer Twins, Cameron and Cayden, on Sunday.

With Hoophall West happening in January, Dybantsa will be looking to further showcase his skills, especially as he is set to announce his school commitment the following month.
