1. AJ Dybantsa
This small forward from Utah Prep in Farmington, Utah, stands at an incredible 6-ft-9 and weighs 200 pounds. Dybantsa is the most obvious mention on our list. He’s a talent highly sought after, with 26 scholarship offers on his table.
Originally from Brockton, Massachusetts, the phenom won the 2023 Gatorade Massachusetts Boys Basketball Player of the Year. He averaged 19.1 points, 9.6 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 2.5 blocks per game playing for St. Sebastian’s School as a freshman.
2. Cameron Boozer
Boozer is the No. 2 player of the 2025 class, right behind Dybantsa, according to 247Sports, On3, Rivals, and ESPN. The 6-ft-9 tall power forward attends Colombus High School in Miami, Florida.
The No. 1 Florida prospect has received eight college offers, with the Florida Gators and Miami Hurricanes being tipped as the favorites to sign him. However, Boozer’s legacy status at Duke, where his father won a national title, is a factor that may tilt the scales in favor of the Blue Devils.
3. Darryn Peterson
With 21 offers for his consideration, Peterson is one of the most highly sought-after shooting guards in the country. Before transferring to Huntington Prep, he gained national attention by scoring over 1000 points in his freshman and sophomore seasons for Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy.
The 2022–23 season saw him average 31 points, 9.8 rebounds, 2.8 steals, and 1.3 assists. He was also a finalist for the Ohio Mr. Basketball Award.
4. Caleb Wilson
Wilson is the No. 1 prospect in Georgia. The power forward from Holy Innocents Episcopal in Atlanta, Georgia, is top-five nationally in his position, attracting offers from 23 schools.
Wilson, who named Nikola Jovic his favorite NBA star, stands at 6-ft-9 and weighs 205 pounds. With plenty of room for growth, Wilson has shown great ability as a good passer and has been beyond decent defensively as well. He easily takes a spot in any rankings this year.
5. Koa Peat
Peat is another power forward on our list of the top five high school basketball prospects in the 2025 class. He is the son of former NFL tackle Todd Peat. Coming from such an athletic background, with the physique to go with it, Peat is easily one of the nation’s top basketball prospects.
Playing for Perry High School in Gilbert, Arizona, he averaged 15 points, 6.1 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.8 blocks as a freshman.
