Top 5 Class of 2025 players to watch during the City of Palms Classic
#5 Kiyan Anthony, Shooting Guard - Long Island Lutheran
Kiyan Anthony and Long Island Lutheran are seeking to bounce back after a slow start to the season, and the son of NBA great Carmelo Anthony has a lot to prove.
This is especially so as he seeks to surpass his father's legacy after committing to Syracuse. He is regarded as a four-star and his offensive capabilities speak for themselves and he has proven that he could score in buckets for days.
#4 Cayden Boozer, Point Guard - Columbus
While he may not be ranked as high as his brother in the rankings, Cayden Boozer has shown that whenever Cameron gets locked down, he can take over. He and his twin brother have proven to be one of the most effective duos in basketball, and this life-long partnership can be seen in the City of Palms Classic.
#3 Tounde Yessoufou, Small Forward - St. Joseph
The No. 17-ranked overall and Baylor commit will be competing in the Sunshine Series bracket and is expected to dominate. The five-star small forward is known to use his physicality and athletic prowess to bully defenders and punish them at mid-range. He has shown much versatility too, and still has plenty of room to grow.
#2 Darius Acuff Jr., Point Guard - IMG Academy
Regarded as one of the best point guards in his class, Darius Acuff Jr. has had much success in leading IMG Academy this year. They will certainly have their hands full in a very competitive part of this year's bracket.
The Arkansas commit is one of the best passers in his class too, and a committed floor general who can direct offense and make his teammates a lot better.
#1 Cameron Boozer, Power Forward - Columbus
The No. 2-ranked overall, Cameron Boozer needs no introduction, and with his twin brother at his side once again for the City of Palms Classic, he will prove to be difficult to contain. As a power forward, he has a very notable inside presence, but as his game against Gonzaga has shown, he is also a clutch 3-point shooter.
