The 2024 BANGBANGCON and the BTS Festa meet-and-greet with Jin
The annual BTS Festa celebrations traditionally run for two full weeks, packed with fun events, surrounding the anniversary day on June 13. This event lasts for 8 to 18 days, beginning on either March 31st, June 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th. It features the release of new pictures, video content, special songs, handwritten letters, radio programs, and more.
The exciting 2024 BANGBANGCON, Jungkook's release of the Festa song Never Let Go, and the like heightened this year's festivities. To top it off, Jin's discharge from the military just a day short of the group's debut date further charged up the atmosphere.
The 2024 BANGBANGCON was broadcast on June 8 at 12 PM KST. Due to the group's conscription at the moment, no live performances took place, but the stream featured three of their major concerts: the 2014 BTS Live Trilogy Episode II The Red Bullet, the 2017 BTS Live Trilogy Episode III The Wings Tour The Final, and the 2019 BTS World Tour Love Yourself: Speak Yourself [The Final].
At the same time, Jin, who is now back in the K-pop scene, will be holding an in-person meeting with ARMYs on June 13 called "Jin's Greetings," where he will exchange light hugs with 1,000 fans over a three-hour period at Jamsil Arena. It will be followed by a live stream titled "Message From Jin," where the Moon singer will showcase performances per ARMYs' wishes. These events will take place to fulfill Jin's wish of spending the 2024 Festa with the fans.
