'2025 SMTOWN: THE CULTURE, THE FUTURE'— All you need to know about SM's 30th anniversary compilation album

SM Entertainment is gearing up to commemorate its 30th anniversary with the release of the highly awaited album, 2025 SMTOWN: THE CULTURE, THE FUTURE. The album is set to drop on February 14, 2025, at 6 pm KST across various music platforms, marking the agency’s first group album in over two years since 2022 Winter SMTOWN: SMCU PALACE.

This celebratory album will include 17 tracks, featuring the new group song "Thank You" as the lead single, alongside remakes of iconic SM songs that have shaped K-pop history. These remakes are performed by both senior and junior artists, showcasing SM's musical diversity and legacy.

The excitement for 2025 SMTOWN: THE CULTURE, THE FUTURE started with the pre-release of RIIZE’s rendition of "Hug" on January 8. A glimpse of the album’s lead track and live performances was seen during the SMTOWN LIVE 2025 [The Culture, The Future] concerts held on January 11–12 at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul.

These concerts featured SM’s top artists, including BoA, TVXQ, Girls’ Generation, EXO, NCT, Red Velvet, aespa, and others.
