Jujutsu Kaisen, My Hero Academia, and other anime recommended by BTS' Jungkook
1) Haikyuu

Haikyuu is a popular manga series starring the show's main characters Hinata Shoyo and Kageyama Tobio. The two lock horns during a junior school volleyball tournament where Kageyama's team obliterated Hinata's team, sending the latter packing. However, they reunite at Karusuno High School, where they are bummed to be on the same team.
Their story, from being the biggest rivals to becoming the best setter-striker pair on a Volleyball court and taking Karasuno to the Nationals, gained global popularity. Jungkook has often mentioned his love for Haikyuu during several Run BTS! episodes (BTS variety show).
2) Jujutsu Kaisen

Yuji enrolls at Tokyo Metropolitan Jujutsu Technical High School, aka Jujutsu High, to stop Sukuna's resurrection and the mayhem he would cause in the world. BTS' Jungkook mentioned Jujutsu Kaisen as his favorite anime during the listening party of his debut solo album, GOLDEN, in November 2023.

Alongside Jungkook, other BTS members are devoted fans of Naruto. They even performed the anime's theme tune at karaoke while performing it on their variety show, Run BTS! episode 28.
4) My Hero Academia

In a universe where almost everyone has superpowers and is categorized as "quirks," Izuku Midoriya is a peculiar youngster who aspires to be a hero. My Hero Academia shows relatable hardship weaved with realism, where Deku's story highlights the value of character above one's abilities. The series creates a distinct superhero story by fusing thrilling action with poignant, real-world themes.
5) Attack on Titan

For the unversed, BTS' popular song, Attack On Bangtan, was inspired by the anime, Attack on Titan. The anime is a favorite of all BTS members and is highly recommended by them.
In other news, BTS' Jungkook is serving in the South Korean military. He enlisted with his bandmate Jimin on December 12, 2023. Both of them will return in June 2025 to resume group activities.
