South Korean pop star BTS Jin was discharged from the South Korean military on Wednesday, June 12, 2024. Since December 2022, BTS' oldest member has served in the military for 18 months as part of his mandatory national service before his discharge. BTS Jin was the band's first member to start and end his service.

1) Tailored black suit for the Fact Music Awards 2022
The Fact Music Awards were held in October 2022, two months before Jin was set to leave for his mandatory military service. He won the FAN N STAR Individual Choice award at the ceremony.
At the event, the singer wore a black tuxedo with a white shirt and a matching black bowtie. The singer complemented the outfit with black shoes and styled his brown hair in messy curls.
2) A Hanbok at the airport
In November 2017, fans saw all the members of BTS at the Incheon airport in Seoul as they left for Hong Kong to attend the Mnet Asian Music Awards. At the time, Jin arrived at the airport wearing a Hanbok, which is a traditional Korean outfit. He was wearing a powder blue Durugami with a black Baji, a red sash, and a black headpiece to complete the outfit.
It was later revealed that he wore the Hanbok after losing a bet on Run BTS, the group's reality show.
