The ninth and 10th episodes of the ongoing drama, A Virtuous Business, were released on November 9 and November 10, respectively, via the JBTC TV network and Netflix. The lighthearted, raunchy drama stars Kim So-yeon, Kim Sun-young, Yeon Woo-jin, Kim Sung-ryung, and Lee Se-hee in the important roles, alongside an extensive supporting cast. A Virtuous Business has 12 episodes in the first season.
In the previous episode, Do-hyeon expressed his feelings for Jeong-suk. In the most recent episodes of A Virtuous Business, Jeong-suk also accepted she had feelings for Do-hyeon. Additionally, Do-hyeon proceeded in his investigation and found himself in a dangerous position, from which he was rescued by Jeong-suk.
A Virtuous Business episode 9: Jeong-suk accepts her feelings for Do-hyeon

The ninth episode of A Virtuous Business began with the scene where ex-convict Jang Kyug-su and Young-bok’s husband, Park Jong-sun, accidentally hit Guem-hui’s husband, Choi Won-bong. Jong-sun wanted to save Won-bong.
Therefore, he informed the police before leaving him behind on the road as Jong-sun was running away with Kyug-su after they robbed a jewelry store.
Meanwhile, Do-hyeon was with Jeong-suk, and to confirm his feelings for her, he hugged her. Jeong-suk became uncomfortable and said that she never saw him romantically. Jeong-suk left, and soon, Do-hyeon received a call about the accident.
Won-bong was rushed to the hospital, while police began investigating the culprit behind the hit-and-run. During the investigation, Do-hyeon found that the tyre marks around the jewelry store were similar to the ones found near the accident site.
He informed his senior that both cases can have the same culprit. Won-bong couldn’t identify the culprits as he fainted right after his accident.
Jeong-suk, on the other side, met Do-hyeon, where he confessed his feelings. Jeong-suk refused to accept his feelings and she began to avoid him.
In her job, Jeong-suk was promoted to a branch manager position, where she trained other new members who joined their business.
In the meantime, Geum-hui took care of her husband. Young-bok assisted Guem-hui while she took care of Won-bong. While speaking with Jong-sun, Young-bok informed him that Won-bong had been hit by the car.
Jong-sun felt guilty and shameful for his actions. But Young-bok became selfish when she begged her husband to conceal the facts for the sake of their children. He wanted to save Jong-sun from the prison term.
In the meantime, Ju-ri told Jeong-suk that she was dating someone. Hearing about her relationship, Jeong-suk felt confident, and she decided to give a chance to her relationship with Do-hyeon.
She called him and asked to meet for a date. They spent time together at the theme park the next day, and it was there that Jeong-suk also expressed her feelings for him.
Young-bok, on the other hand, felt guilty for hiding the truth from Guem-hui, who had always been so kind to her. She reached the hospital and confessed her husband’s name as the culprit behind Won-bong’s accident.
Towards the end of the ninth episode of A Virtuous Business, Do-hyeon received a signal on his pager from the police station. Both Jeong-suk and Do-hyeon rushed to the station together.
Jeong-suk saw Guem-hui walking towards the station, upset, and Young-bok followed her. Guem-hui came to a halt and expressed her regret at meeting them, believing they were good people. She told them not to meet her again.
A Virtuous Business episode 10: Jeong-suk discovers an unexpected connection between Guem-hui and Do-hyeon
The 10th episode of A Virtuous Business started with the arrest of Young-bok’s husband, Park Jong-sun. As shown in the last episode, Jong-sun and the other guy Jang Kyug-su hit Choi Won-bong with their car and fled the scene.
At the police station, Geum-hui asked Kim Do-hyeon about who reported the accident to the police, as she seemed grateful to that person. Soon, Do-hyeon revealed that Jong-sun informed the police about the accident.
Guem-hui was still upset with Young-bok and her husband. Jeong-suk, on the other hand, went to Young-bok to take her to Guem-hui and ask for forgiveness. Together they went to the hospital and met Guem-hui and Won-bong.
When Young-bok asked Guem-hui to forgive her, she said mean things to her. Suddenly, Young-bok had terrible pelvic pain as she was leaving. Then, Guem-hui, who has a kind heart, quickly got a wheelchair ready and rushed Young-bok to the hospital. In the meantime, Jeong-suk had Young-bok's baby in her arms.
After that pain arose, Young-bok’s teammates found out about her pregnancy. Geum-hui scolded her for hiding her pregnancy and soon they reconciled their tensions.
Guem-hui requested Do-hyeon to settle the case, which eventually reduced the punishment for Jong-sun. Choi Won-bong also forgave Jong-sun for what he did.
The four ladies got back to their business and Jeong-suk, as a branch manager, gave them the task of writing product descriptions for their items to develop a better understanding for the buyer.
Meanwhile, Jeong-suk and Do-hyeon started dating. They spent more time with each other. Ju-ri, on the other hand, continued dating Dae-geun.
Kim Do-hyeon was also looking into the 30-year-old missing child cases when, one day, Captain Seo handed him over some old case materials. The common thread they could detect in those cases was the involvement of a midwife.
Do-hyeon questioned one old lady, who previously worked as a midwife. She was suffering from Alzheimer’s disease. She gave him the hint of another midwife, Ok-yeop’s mother.
Both Jeong-suk and Do-hyeon tried to find a man named Ok-yeop. Do-hyeon soon discovered that Ok-yeop had died 30 years ago and that his mother, Cho Sun-ae, was the owner of the bookstore.
When he went to her bookstore, Cho Sun-ae gave Do-hyeon a cup of tea, which made him dizzy and caused him to fall. Sun-ae admitted to kidnapping the missing children while working as a midwife.
Sun-ae tied him up and revealed the truth about why she kidnapped them. After losing her son, Ok-yeop, owing to a lack of financial means while he was ill, was determined to kidnap those children who were born into impoverished families.
She placed them for international adoptions in order to save their future and provide those children a better life. She believed that she saved them. After telling him the story, she came close to Do-hyeon and checked his forehead for a tattoo that she placed on all the kidnapped children.
As he had no tattoo, Sun-ae said she was not the one to kidnap him.
While she was talking, Jeong-suk came to her book store. As Sun-ae went to talk to Jeong-suk, a lantern dropped on the floor, and the room erupted with fire. Jeong-suk soon entered the room and saved him from fire.
Later, Cho Sun-ae was arrested but still Do-hyeon’s matter was not resolved.
At the hospital, Do-hyeon, who was recovering from a fire accident, received a parcel from his adopted parents. He showed the baby cloth in which he was found wrapped in his childhood to Jeong-suk.
The cloth had initials ‘K.B.H.’ embroidered on it. Do-hyeon found this as a new lead in his investigation.
Later, Guem-hui, Young-bok, and Ju-ri visited Do-hyeon at the hospital. Guem-hui invited Jeong-suk and Do-hyeon as a couple to her husband’s discharge party.
In the last scene of the 10th episode of A Virtuous Business, everyone gathered together at Guem-hui’s place for a party. Jeong-suk went to Guem-hui’s storeroom to get an extra stove.
There, she discovered a baby cloth with similar initials on it as seen on Do-hyeon’s cloth. It seemed like Do-hyeon was Guem-hui’s son.
Jeong-suk then came out and looked at Guem-hui and Do-hyeon, bringing the episode to a close.
