BTS member Kim Taehyung, also known as V, has once again left fans and non-fans alike in awe with the teaser for his upcoming music video, Winter Ahead, with Park Hyo-shin. Released on November 25, 2024 (KST), the 90-second clip has quickly gained traction on social media, showcasing V's artistry and leaving viewers in awe.
The teaser opens with V waking up to the sound of rain, setting a somber and reflective tone. It follows him through a dimly lit corridor as he dons a T-shirt. As he splashes water on his face, the scene shifts to him meticulously carving a sculpture, each stroke seemingly tied to fragments of his past, evoking a sense of introspection.

BTS' Taehyung and Park Hyo-shin to release jazz-pop single Winter Ahead on November 29
On November 22, BigHit Music announced that BTS' V will release a new digital single, Winter Ahead, in collaboration with renowned singer Park Hyo-shin. The song is a jazz-pop track composed by Grammy-winning artist Jesse Harris.
To be released on November 29 at 2 pm KST, Winter Ahead is described as a jazz-pop track with a mellow atmosphere, blending the vocal tones of both artists. BigHit Music described the upcoming release in a statement,
"“Winter Ahead (with PARK HYO SHIN)” is a jazz-pop song with a heavy vibe that showcases the peaceful voice colors of the two artists. The song sings that happiness can be found in being with someone on your side. As you listen to the song by V, we hope you wrap up the year warmly with your loved ones."
Composed by Grammy-winning musician Jesse Harris, best known for his work on Don't Know Why, the six-minute track will feature both V and Park Hyo-shin. Although Hyo-shin was not in the first teaser, fans expect him to appear in the next teaser. The song is expected to be a soothing and soulful collaboration between the two vocalists.
A week after the release of Winter Ahead, BTS' V will present his rendition of White Christmas, a classic first performed by Bing Crosby 80 years ago. The song is scheduled for release on December 6 at 2 pm KST.
BTS' V is currently fulfilling his mandatory military service with fellow BTS members Suga, RM, Jimin, and Jungkook. All are expected to complete their service and return in June 2025.
