BTS member Jungkook's solo anthem Dreamers continues to break records and win hearts globally. A recent FIFA announcement helped propel the song's music video into the Top 100 most-viewed videos on YouTube overnight.
On December 12, INSIDEFIFA announced the locations, dates, and kickoff times for the 63 games in the 2025 Club World Cup, which will include 32 clubs from around the globe. Furthermore, Morocco, Portugal, and Spain were appointed as the next hosts of the FIFA World Cup 2030.
Meanwhile, the song entered at #96 on the morning of December 12, 2024, with over 740,000 real-time streaming views on YouTube following the announcement. However, by 11:30 PM (KST) or 6:32 AM (PT), Dreamers dropped to #107 with 677,367 real-time streaming views.
The track was released as part of the official FIFA World Cup 2022 soundtrack. It was unveiled during the FIFA World Cup 2022 opening ceremony in Qatar, marking Jungkook as the first Asian artist to headline such a prestigious global event. Collaborating with Qatari artist Fahad Al Kubaisi, Jungkook delivered a captivating performance, making history.
The official music video for the song has amassed over 200 million views on YouTube as of November 2023, while live performance clips have also garnered millions of views, cementing its place in FIFA's all-time rankings.
The renewed popularity of Dreamers following FIFA’s recognition sparked an outpouring of love from fans across social media platforms. ARMY, BTS’ fanbase, praised Jungkook's global influence, emphasizing his role in bridging cultures through music. One fan hailed it as his "iconic era" and wrote on X:
