BTS member Jungkook's solo anthem Dreamers continues to break records and win hearts globally. A recent FIFA announcement helped propel the song's music video into the Top 100 most-viewed videos on YouTube overnight.

On December 12, INSIDEFIFA announced the locations, dates, and kickoff times for the 63 games in the 2025 Club World Cup, which will include 32 clubs from around the globe. Furthermore, Morocco, Portugal, and Spain were appointed as the next hosts of the FIFA World Cup 2030.

Meanwhile, the song entered at #96 on the morning of December 12, 2024, with over 740,000 real-time streaming views on YouTube following the announcement. However, by 11:30 PM (KST) or 6:32 AM (PT), Dreamers dropped to #107 with 677,367 real-time streaming views.

The track was released as part of the official FIFA World Cup 2022 soundtrack. It was unveiled during the FIFA World Cup 2022 opening ceremony in Qatar, marking Jungkook as the first Asian artist to headline such a prestigious global event. Collaborating with Qatari artist Fahad Al Kubaisi, Jungkook delivered a captivating performance, making history.

The official music video for the song has amassed over 200 million views on YouTube as of November 2023, while live performance clips have also garnered millions of views, cementing its place in FIFA's all-time rankings.

The renewed popularity of Dreamers following FIFA’s recognition sparked an outpouring of love from fans across social media platforms. ARMY, BTS’ fanbase, praised Jungkook's global influence, emphasizing his role in bridging cultures through music. One fan hailed it as his "iconic era" and wrote on X:

"Makes me so proud. An iconic era, FIFAKOOK"

FIFA’s announcement reignited interest in Dreamers not only as a World Cup anthem but also as a timeless ode to hope and ambition. Fans underscored how the BTS sensation created history as the first Korean/K-pop artist to perform at the tournament's opening ceremony.

"When a song is a real gp hit. Dreamerkook will always be iconic," one fan said.
"It just keeps coming. The fact that he’s set the bar so high with just one world cup performance—just pure talent and his golden voice," another fan wrote.
"We must agree that Dreamers is so iconic. Now people will use this song whenever they win football matches and it's never getting old," one other fan added.

Others mentioned the song's enduring relevance underscoring Jungkook’s ability to connect with audiences worldwide, transcending borders and languages.

"The way he won the world over with his undeniable talent," one fan wrote.
"Like do you know how crazy it is to make football fans fall in love with you. God I’m so proud of him," another fan commented.
"I hope Jungkook can perform again in the next WC not just for his insane live vocal and stage presence. He is the best representation of sportsmanship on respect, responsibility, discipline, self-awareness, self-control, humility, accountability and thankfulness," one other fan said.

BTS' Jungkook soaring solo success and military enlistment

In 2023, he released his debut solo album Golden, which spawned chart-topping singles like Seven featuring Latto and 3D featuring Jack Harlow. These tracks dominated global charts, including the Billboard Hot 100, Billboard Global 200, and Billboard Global 200 (Excluding the U.S.), with Seven securing the top spot on the Hot 100 for seven consecutive weeks.

Additionally, the BTS idol also released a documentary film titled I AM STILL in September 2024. The documentary offers an intimate look into his creative process and personal growth, receiving critical acclaim and performing strongly at the box office. Fans worldwide streamed it on Disney+, where it quickly became one of the platform’s top-performing music documentaries.

In compliance with South Korea's mandatory military service requirements, Jungkook enlisted in 2024, temporarily pausing his activities. Despite this hiatus, he released his pre-filmed travel show content, ARE YOU SURE?!, on Disney+ featuring his bandmate Park Jimin.

I AM STILL and ARE YOU SURE?! are available on Disney+ for global streaming.
