BTS' Kim Seok-jin dropped the latest episode from his ongoing reality show, RUN JIN, on September 17, 2024. Episode 6 showed the Tonight singer-songwriter having a friendly match with the show's special guest, actor Lee Yi-kyung, from the popular K-drama Marry My Husband.

During the episode, both celebrities were coached and guided by a professional tennis coach, Kim Sang-gyun. Meanwhile, the coach also left a heartfelt comment underneath the video that was released on BTS' official YouTube channel, BANGTANTV. He shared how the BTS singer looked after him and made him feel comfortable and wrote,

"During this shoot, there were so many cameras, and I was nervous, but Seokjin, who noticed that, kept worrying about me and looking after me, always staying by my side. I was so thankful and grateful to him. He also made the atmosphere on set so enjoyable. Seokjin, who is as handsome in heart as he is in appearance, truly shows that world stars are different."

BTS' Kim Seok-jin and actor Lee Yi-kyung's 17 years of friendship was highlighted in episode 6 of RUN JIN

Actor Lee Yi-kyung joined the BTS idol in episode 6. They revealed that they had been friends with each other for over 17 years, and they both attended the same acting school together. In this amiable yet competitive encounter, the BTS idol and Lee Yi-kyung—who both call themselves "tennis kids"—were pitted against real junior tennis players.

The Super Tuna singer-songwriter and Yi-kyung's competitive spirit was evident despite their amateur status and the age gap between them and their younger rivals. The kids, aged 11 and 12 years, stated that they had played tennis professionally for over six years.

The BTS idol immediately started beefing with the kids, which added humor and laughter to the episode. The episode had several other highlights, including the duo's hilarious celebration after scoring a point against two younger tennis players.

The BTS singer sprung into Yi-kyung's arms in celebration after the other team's ball struck the net and wrapped his legs around the actor's waist, which was one especially funny moment. The kids challenged the celebrity duo to a real tennis match. The kids politely stated that they had been going easy on them.

The Super Tuna singer-songwriter and Yi-kyung's celebrations ended when the kids started playing seriously, and the celebrity duo couldn't score a point. Chaos ensued as the BTS idol and Yi-kyung hilariously started screaming at each other, making the kids and the filming crew laugh out loud.

Eventually, both Jin and Yi-kyung lost both matches to the kids by a huge margin. The BTS idol later admitted that he tried every dirty trick from the book to win against the kids but failed miserably.

In other news, the Tonight singer-songwriter from BTS will be attending the 2024 Milan Fashion Week. He left from Incheon International Airport for Milan on September 18, 2024.
