Bad Memory Eraser episode 11: Kyung Ju-yeon learns about Lee Shin and Sae-yan’s dating history
Episode 11 of Bad Memory Eraser begins with Ju-yeon and Goon. They kiss each other, and following this, they head to Goon’s grandmother’s house. He tells her about his grandmother, and then Ju-yeon cooks food using the food items from Shin’s suitcase, which he forgot to take with him to the National Team Training Center. They eat together and prepare to sleep. They wake up the next morning and leave for the training center.
On the other hand, Shin, at the training center, talks to his parents on a video call and then sleeps.
At the training center, Cha Si On and Lee Shin prepare for their media day. Shin feels jealous of Goon when he sees both Sae-yan and Ju-yeon talking to him.
Meanwhile, at the Hanseom Hospital, Tae-oh, Ju-yeon’s fellow doctor, is planning to find faults in Ju-yeon’s Bad Memory Eraser experiment so that he can take over her research. He tries to look for some evidence of the side effects of the research on Ju-yeon’s table.
Following this, Tae-oh is seen at Professor Han’s office, where he inserts a pen drive into the professor’s computer. He tries to steal some information. At the same time, a nurse enters Professor Han’s room and she receives a call on his phone. Tae-oh overhears everything. The call is regarding Dr. Kim, who is returning to Korea from the UK and is involved in the Bad Memory Eraser experiment.
After completing her press conference with Coach and Cha Si On, Sae-Yan is seen sitting in the restaurant with her mother. Sae-yan’s mother has come to take her home. She forces Sae-yan to come with her to Italy. Her mother questions her about why she wants to find her biological father when that man never cared about her and Sae-yan in these many years.
Goon hears their conversation. He interrupts and says that Sae-yan can’t leave Korea as she has signed a contract with his Agency Goon as an interpreter.
Listening to this, her mother leaves. After she leaves, Sae-yan tells Goon that her father is a gangster and a dangerous man. She tells Goon about her search for her biological father.
Goon helps him and takes him to the village, where they come across a man who knows Goon’s grandmother. He tells Goon that he gave a hard time to his grandmother when he was young. Listening to this, some of Goon’s bad memories are triggered. He recalls his childhood when he fell into the river, lost his medal, and then a girl saved him. He got scared as he felt that the girl (Ju-yeon) who saved him died because of him.
Meanwhile, Ju-yeon approaches Shin while he is rehabilitating. She tries to convince him to a press conference as he feels uncomfortable in front of cameras. She talks to him, and he tells her that he never really wanted to be a player. He just followed his brother. While talking to her, Shin also tries to flirt with her. Ju-yeon takes him to the conference hall and draws a smile as a good luck sign on Shin’s palm.
Upon concluding his press appearance, Shin exits and begins looking for Ju-yeon. He exits the training center building and finds Ju-yeon strolling nearby. While Shin is approaching her, Goon swiftly moves and hugs her. Upon witnessing this, Shin becomes infuriated and proceeds to the washroom, where he forcefully removes the smiley face drawing from his hand that Ju-yeon had created as a symbol of good luck for him.
Meanwhile, Cha Si On, who has feelings of envy towards Sae-yan, deliberately provides her with a beverage that induces bowel motions. Subsequently, she suggests to Sae-yan that they go swimming together.
Upon donning her swimming gear, Sae-yan experiences immediate stomach discomfort, prompting her to hastily make her way to the restroom. However, due to her inability to unzip her gear, she exits the bathroom and encounters Shin nearby. She compels him to assist her.
This made her embarrassed in front of Shin. Sae-yan cries in her room, where Ju-yeon tries to calm her down. While talking to Sae-yan, Ju-yeon learns that Goon accompanied her to look for her biological father in the village. After some time, Ju-yeon receives a call from Sae-yan’s mother.
Ju-yeon meets her mother, and she insists she convinces Sae-yan to go back with her. Ju-yeon replies that Sae-yan is an adult now and no one can force her for anything, even if she wants to look for her biological father. Sae-yan’s mother tells Ju-yeon that though she can’t tell her everything, it is good for Ju-yeon if Sae-yan doesn’t try to find her biological father. Her mother also tells Ju-yeon that Shin and Sae-yan were dating when Shin was in Italy for his training.
Ju-yeon, who was first going to meet Goon, changes her mind and decides to confront Shin. She recalls the instances when Shin lied to her and always told her that she didn’t know Sae-yan from before. And she also realizes that Sae-yan is Goon’s first love and not her.
She calls Shin and goes near the swimming pool where Shin is sitting. She asks him why he is hiding the truth about Sae-yan for so long. Shin tells her that this won’t change anything, as Ju-yeon was just pretending to be Goon’s first love. Then he continues to ask Ju-yeon if she really developed feelings for Goon while pretending to be his first love. He says that she needs to push Goon away from herself. And then Shin forcefully tries to kiss her.
Goon, who followed Ju-yeon to the swimming pool, rushes to stop Shin. Shin furiously pushes Goon into the pool. In the last scene, Goon recalls his childhood when he fell into the water and was saved by a girl, as well as the instances when he was pushed from a bridge. This is where episode 11 of Bad Memory Eraser comes to an end.
