However, the Bad Memory Eraser introduces him to psychiatrist and brain researcher Kyung Ju-yeon (played by Jin Se-yeon).
In the previous episode of Bad Memory Eraser, Ju-yeon decides to play her part as the first love of Goon, who has already lost his memory. The latest episode will put forward Lee Goon's efforts to win over Kyung Ju-yeon.
Bad Memory Eraser episode 3 recap: Sae-yan moves in with Ju-yeon
The third episode of Bad Memory Eraser starts with a scene where Lee Goon is seen trying to impress Ju-yeon, whom he calls his first love. Following this, Ju-yeon decides to act like Goon’s first love and she informs the same to her fellow researcher, Professor Han.
She says that she is acting just for the sake of their research, and this will purely be a doctor-patient relationship. Ju-yeon then goes to Goon’s room, where he introduces her as his first love to his parents. He adds that she was his lifesaver when he was drowning at the age of 13.
In the next scene, as Goon approaches Ju-yeon to propose to her, she says that she already has a boyfriend. She further informs Goon that her boyfriend works in the same hospital. At the same time, Yoon Tae-oh arrives, and Ju-yeon pretends as if he is her boyfriend. This annoys Goon. Therefore, he tries to win over Ju-yeon with his romantic scheme.
Meanwhile, Lee Shin (Goon’s younger brother), who was summoned by police in the previous episode, is now sitting in the police station. He explains the complete story of Goon’s accident. This follows Shin’s flashback, where Goon is seen walking out of his house after a small argument with his parents.
Shin follows him to the bridge, and soon, upset, Goon jumps from the bridge into the river. Shin adds how he saved Goon before 911 arrived at the scene.
Interrupting their conversation, the president of Lee Shin’s agency steps into the interrogation room. He requests the police officer, not make a fuss about Goon’s accident, as Shin is a popular tennis player and this can harm his image.
In return, the agency’s president expects Shin to renew his contract with the agency. While Shin leaves the police station, an unknown person is shown watching him from a distance.
Lee Shin is practicing for his tennis match in the next scene. His mother keeps nagging him while he is playing. Shin takes a break and signs some tennis balls at the request of Goon’s best friend, Guk-bong, who is an after-school teacher and plans to give those signed balls to his students.
Unfortunately, Shin fails to reach school on time, as he has to visit the hospital for a psychiatric consultation. Ju-yeon finds out that Shin has OCD (obsessive-compulsive disorder) during his consultation. By accident, Ju-yeon's gift key ring fell into Shin's bag. It was the key ring that her crush, Tae-oh, gave her.
Ju-yeon also speaks to Professor Han about reversing the side effects of Goon’s Bad Memory Eraser experiment. They decide to connect with an expert, Dr. Kim, to deal with this issue.
On the other side, Goon, who is determined to make Ju-yeon fall in love with him, tells her that Tae-oh isn’t the right person for her. He adds that she should love someone who loves her more.
Ju-yeon returns home, and the next morning she wakes up next to Jeon Sae-yan. Sae-yan is the daughter of Ju-yeon’s mother’s best friend, who has come to Korea from Italy for a month. She plans to stay with Ju-yeon. The latter seems annoyed with the former’s overly friendly and enthusiastic behavior.
Lee Shin finds Ju-yeon’s lost key ring in his bag while practicing. Ju-yeon, on the other side, desperately tries to find her key ring. She soon realizes that she lost it while helping Shin collect autographed tennis balls that fell on the ground the previous day.
While Ju-yeon relentlessly searches for her key ring, Goon brings it to her. Goon stops Ju-yeon from going ahead as they walk toward the parking because he already knows that Tae-oh is in the car with his girlfriend. This is where the third episode of Bad Memory Eraser comes to an end.
It will be revealed in the upcoming episode, how Ju-yeon will react to the situation and if she will accept Goon's feelings.
The Bad Memory Eraser airs every Friday and Saturday at 9:40 pm KST on the MBN TV network. Viewers from other countries can catch the episodes on Viki.
