During their conversation, Jonathan mentioned an old memory from BTS' variety show, American Hustle Life, where the band members had to hand out flyers and ask people to attend their concert.

The I'll Be There singer-songwriter responded with a hilarious jab at Mnet, the sponsor of American Hustle Life. The BTS idol called Mnet a "scammer" and added that they fooled him and his members.

"About 2 years after the debut, I was scammed. I was told we were going to work on music in the US. All of a sudden, they said it was the beginning of American Hustle Life."

For the unversed, in the reality show American Hustle Life, BTS members spent two weeks in Los Angeles with hip-hop instructors, completing various tasks to gain an understanding of authentic hip-hop culture. The eight-episode show premiered on Mnet on July 24, 2014, at 8:00 pm.

BTS' Jin shares having only 120 contacts, calling Paik Jong-won every day, and more

During the KStarNextDoor4 talk show, the Super Tuna hitmaker clarified that several BTS members couldn't get leaves from their ongoing military service during j-hope's discharge on October 17, 2024.

Although j-hope asked Jin to not come at his discharge, the K-pop idol rescheduled all his work appointments to show up outside Wonju military center for j-hope. Jin said:

"Hobi said its ok for me not to come but it's not easy for other members to get vacation days. So cosidering that, I thought no one could be there at Hobi's discharge. So, I skipped my planned (work) schedule to go there."

BTS' Jin revealed how everyone in the entertainment industry has over 2,000 to 3,000 contacts saved on their respective phones. However, he only has around 120 contacts saved on his phone. He said:

"Because it's just us during the shoot we are not joined by anyone else. I don't enjoy going out. People think it’s not easy to see me again, so they never call me. I wish they did."

Furthermore, he mentioned that he talks to celebrity chef Paik Jong-won on the phone every day. The BTS idol revealed that he would often text the Culinary Class War fame celebrity chef and Paik Jong-won would call Jin in return as a response to the idol's text every day.
