This new solo single, Who, debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. US charts, making him the second BTS member to achieve this feat, following Jungkook. On Spotify Global Top Songs, it debuted in first position.

The album Muse consists of seven songs, and Jimin performed Who on NBC's The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The track is set at night time, crowded with the city's hustle and bustle, where Jimin is looking for his muse.

"We have never met, but she is all I see all night / Never met, she is always on my mind / Wanna give her the world and so much more / Who is my heart waiting for!"

With these lyrics, Jimin portrayed the theme - the quest for love in this K-pop soloist song.


2) Rockstar by Lisa

On June 28, Lisa debuted her fourth K-pop soloist song, Rockstar. After founding her own management company, LLOUD, and signing with RCS Records, this track became their debut release. The track is one of the biggest hit tracks in recent months and earned over 110 million plays on Spotify.

Rockstar debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard Global Excl. US chart, marking her first solo leader. This makes her the third member of BLACKPINK to achieve a solo No. 1 on this chart. On Spotify, this K-pop soloist song debuts at 8th.

As one of the most successful K-pop soloist songs of 2024, Rockstar has broken several records. It became the most-viewed track in 24 hours by a K-pop soloist, previously held by IU's Love Wins All.

BTS member Jung Kook dropped his new single, Never Let Go, on June 7 through Weverse and BTS' official social media channels. The track is themed on mutual support, dedicated to the BTS ARMY.

Jung Kook noted in HYBE's press release,

"Never Let Go is a track dedicated to [BTS] fans, ARMY, conveying a sincere message to never let go of each other."

After a year-long hiatus of his debut album Golden in 2023, this K-pop soloist song has marked FESTA 2024. Currently, it has 104 million plays on Spotify. On the Billboard 200 Album chart, it debuted at No. 2. On Global Spotify Charts, it ranks 14th.

Jung Kook has consistently released tracks for BTS FESTA since the group's third anniversary in 2016, including collaborations and solo songs like I Know with RM, Still With You in 2020, and My You in 2022.

On March 15, BTS' Taehyung released his latest single, FRI(END)S, another K-pop soloist song of the year. The song is rooted in pop-soul and written in English. With the pink background in the video, the song embarks on a sweet mood, garnering more than 266 million plays on Spotify.

The song debuted in second position on Billboard's Digital Song Sales chart. Upon release, FRI(END)S entered the Billboard Global Excl. US chart at No. 3 and the Global 200 at No. 5. At Spotify's Daily Global Top Song Charts, it ranks 7th.
