In light of the recent wildfires in Los Angeles, the rapper previously expressed her support for those affected by the tragedy. She brought attention to the present tragedy and shared her sorrow and condolences for those impacted in a moving post on the Instagram page of her brand, ODDATELIER. In her letter, she wrote,
"Our hearts are broken for all those affected by the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles, a place so near and dear to our hearts. So many families, communities, and first responders are facing unimaginable challenges and losses right now. We stand with you all, and encourage everyone to lend a hand however they can. Please stay strong and take care of each other."
The BLACKPINK rapper also included a link to a list of resources for victims of the fires.
For the unversed, in January 2025, Southern California faced a series of devastating wildfires that significantly impacted the Los Angeles area. The fires, which began on January 7, were fueled by severe drought conditions and strong Santa Ana winds, leading to widespread destruction and loss of life.
Collectively, these fires resulted in at least 28 fatalities and the destruction of more than 12,000 structures. Over 200,000 residents were placed under evacuation orders as the fires scorched tens of thousands of acres across Los Angeles County.

BLACKPINK's Jennie is set to make a significant impact with her debut solo album, Ruby, scheduled for release on March 7, 2025. The album comprises 15 tracks and features collaborations with prominent artists such as Childish Gambino, Doechii, Dominic Fike, Dua Lipa, FKJ, and Kali Uchis.
In support of the album, Jennie will embark on a series of intimate performances titled The Ruby Experience. The showcase will commence on March 6 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, followed by a performance at Radio City Music Hall in New York on March 10, and concluding at the Inspire Arena in Incheon, South Korea, on March 15.
Tickets for the Los Angeles and New York shows will be available for presale on January 29 at 10 a.m. local time, with general sales starting on January 31. For the Seoul performance, presale begins on February 5 at 7 p.m. local time, followed by general sales on February 6.
