On December 6, 2024, BLACKPINK's Rosé's latest album, Rosie, emerged as the first act by a K-pop soloist to be certified Diamond on QQ Music this year. The record sold over 10 million units in China, showcasing the female artist's influence and impact in the country.

For those unversed, the female K-pop idol and main vocalist and dancer of BLACKPINK released her full-length album Rosie on December 6, 2024, through The Black Label and The Atlantic Records. The album contains thirteen tracks, including Number One Girl, 3 AM, Two Years, Toxic Till The End, Drinks or Coffee, Apt. (Bruno Mars), Gameboy, Stay a Little Longer, Not The Same, Call It The End, Too Bad For Us, Dance All Night, and Vampirehollie.


BLACKPINK's Rosé's latest album, Rosie, sold over 316,963 units on Hanteo

Following the release of Rosie, the record emerged as the best-selling album by Rosé on its first day on the Hanteo charts. It recorded sales of 300,000 units, exceeding her debut album R (it had over 282k sales). She also ranked first on Hanteo's Weekly social chart, respectively.

The record also achieved the milestone of becoming the highest charting album by a female K-pop soloist in the United States iTunes history at second place. Meanwhile, it surpassed SEVENTEEN's album '17 is Right Here' in terms of sales and became the fourth most-selling K-pop record in China in 2024.

BLACKPINK's Rosé continued to dominate the domestic charts as each track from Rosie peaked at multiple positions on Apple Music South Korea. Apt. (Bruno Mars) at No.3, Toxic Till The End at No.5, Number One Girl at No.7, 3 am at No.18, Two Years at No.20, Drinks or Coffee at No.21, Gameboy at No.22, Stay a Little Longer at No.28, Not the Same at No.40, Call It The End at No.41, Too Bad For Us at No.43, Apt. (ver 2) at No. 46, and Dance All Night at No.48, respectively.

Meanwhile, Toxic Till The End's music video debuted at the No.1 position on trending music videos worldwide and charted in forty-seven countries. Rosie bagged first place on both the Worldwide and European iTunes Album Chart.

Subsequently, the group members continued to support BLACKPINK's Rosé's latest record. Jisoo took to her Instagram story to share the clip from her music video Toxic Till The End and captioned the update as:

"The full album that @roses_are_rosie worked on for a long time has come out! It's so so so good- Everyone go watch the music video."

Meanwhile, Jennie showered compliments about the album through her Instagram story, where she expressed pride in BLACKPINK's Rosé. She added that the latest album was heartbreaking, beautiful, and warm. It made her miss her and she could not wait for the world to listen to her album. Additionally, Lisa also showcased her support through an Instagram story.


In recent news, BLACKPINK's Rosé was spotted at the I Love Rosie pop event in New York to celebrate the release of her latest album on December 7, 2024.
