Brewing Love, starring Kim Se-jeong, Lee Jung-won, and more, aired episodes 9 and 10 on December 2 and 3, respectively, on ENA. Brewing Love episode 9 showcased Bang A-reum (Shin Do-hyun) telling Oh Chan-hwi (Baek Sung-chul) about seeing him in her vision of the future, which also includes marriage. However, Oh Chan-hwi said he could not think about his future alone.
Later, Chae Yong-ju (Kim Se-jeong) was seen cleaning up her house following her grandmother's funeral. Yun Min-ju (Lee Jung-won) came and took her to the village. All the villagers tried to cheer her up by playing games. Eventually, Chae Yong-ju was able to laugh again.
On the other hand, after dropping Bang A-reum at her home, Oh Chan-hwi met a strange lady who wanted him to take away his food truck as it didn't fit into the elite neighborhood. In the recent developments of Brewing Love, Yun Min-ju and Chae Yong-ju found three different types of beer for Jisang Beverages and named the set “TOGETHER.”

Brewing Love ep 9-10 recap: Chae Yong-ju and Yun Min-ju win the Blinded Beer tasting competition
In Brewing Love episode 9, Oh Chan-hwi told Bang A-reum about the strange lady when he dropped her home again. While they were conversing, the lady bumped into them and she turned out to be Bang A-reum's mom.
Bang A-reum told her mom that Oh Chan-hwi was her boyfriend but she did not seem to like him. Her mom took her inside the house and asked him to leave. They got into an argument and Bang A-reum burst into tears and left the house to see Oh Chan-hwi waiting outside. Bang A-reum told him that he should get married to her because he was born into a family who loved each other, but her family relations were not as good.
After learning about Mr. Kim (Jang Won-young) and Zhu Yen (Seo I-yeon), Chae Yong-ju mustered up the courage to ask Yun Min-ju out. Despite her hesitation, she successfully shared her feelings for Yun Min-ju and they shared a kiss. After finalizing the beer's name, the TF team was all set for tasting evaluation at the Seoul branch.
By the end of Brewing Love episode 9, despite many employees enjoying the beer, the evaluation was unsuccessful. This was because the planning team director Yeom (Kim Joong-hee) was jealous of the marketing team's success and influenced everyone to change their evaluation.
In Brewing Love episode 10, Director Yeom tried his best to stop the Jisang Beverages chairman from tasting Yun Min-ju and Chae Yong-ju’s new beer. However, while the chairman loved the beers, the internal evaluation results were also important.
So, Yun Min-ju suggested an external evaluation should be done for tasting, which was through the blind beer tasting competition. The Jisang Beverages chairman agreed to the idea and stated that if even one type of beer won the competition, they would proceed with the launch.
Later, Oh Chan-hwi found himself torn between fighting his past while also wanting a future with Bang A-reum. He went swimming because he had a lot on his mind. As he tried getting out of the pool, he imagined a soldier shooting a bullet to his head and saw that he fell into the pool again. Yun Min-ju came looking for Oh Chan-hwi because he had already alerted him about his situation.
Oh Chan-hwi discussed his thoughts with Yun Min-ju and stated that after meeting Bang A-reum, he finally could face his past; however, he failed again. He said that he was too weak to protect her despite him being a man and that it would not work out between them. Yun Min-ju explained to him that love transcends gender and that nothing matters when it comes to love.
The next day in Brewing Love episode 10, Oh Chan-hwi met Bang A-reum and while having dinner, he finally told her that he killed a man during a mission in the Special Forces. This haunted him so much that despite trying to get over it, he developed a condition where he could not breathe. He quit the military and returned home and due to this, his family members also walked on eggshells around him.
When Oh Chan-hwi felt nauseated and could not eat anything, his family also could not do the same. This was the reason why he ran away from home, so that his family could be at peace. Oh Chan-hwi asked Bang A-reum if she could live with him forever.
However, suddenly, he could not breathe and walked out of the restaurant. Bang A-reum followed him and told him that she would try to do it for him. She said that she would try to eat well and breathe well and when she cannot do it, she would let him know. Bang A-reum added that she could not let him run away.
Later, Chae Yong-ju invited Yun Min-ju’s family to the village for a gathering with the villagers. She insisted Yun Min-ju have a beer with his father alone and not return before they finished all the cans. That's when his father opened up about going through a hard time after his mother's death, so much so that he could never attend a funeral again, including Chae Yong-ju’s grandma’s funeral.
However, he was unable to open up to Yun Min-ju. Furthermore, he also opened up about growing up in a family of military soldiers and said that due to always being told to be a man, it was difficult for him to build a connection with Yun Min-ju. This was because Yun Min-ju had a reserved and sensitive personality. Yun Min-ju then asked his father to visit him often in the village.
By the end of Brewing Love episode 10, Yun Min-ju won the Blind Beer tasting competition. He confronted Director Yeom who tried to swap the bottles before the competition to make them fail. With this, the TF team got the authority to lead the launch of the new beer. Brewing Love episode 10 concluded on a cliffhanger when Chae Yong-ju learned that Yun Min-ju stopped the dispatch of the new beer's first batch.
