BTS’ V, Jungkook, Jimin & more lead 2024 Korea Grand Music Awards nods: Complete nominations list, how to vote, lineup & all we know so far

BTS members Park Jimin, Jeon Jungkook, and Kim Taehyung aka V, have been nominated for the forthcoming 2024 Korea Grand Music Awards. The awards show will be held at the INSPIRE Arena in South Korea on November 16 and 17, 2024.

Ahead of the event, Jimin is leading in nominations in three distinctive categories, namely the 10 Best Artist, 10 Best Songs (WHO), and the Best Trend Of the Year at the 2024 Korea Grand Music Awards (KGMA). For the unversed, Jimin's WHO is the title track from his second solo album, MUSE, which was released on July 19, 2024.

The award ceremony will be hosted by Nam Ji-hyun and aespa's Winter on November 16, followed by Nam Ji-hyun and NewJeans' Hanni on November 17, 2024.

BTS' Jimin, V, RM, SHINee's Taemin bag several nominations at the 2024 Korea Grand Music Awards

The first-day lineup for the 2024 Korea Grand Music Awards includes performances from popular K-pop groups such as ATEEZ, NewJeans, NiziU, Espa, ZEROBASEONE, and SHINee's Taemin. Funky Studio CEO and former director of "MAMA," Han Dong-chul, will be directing this year's awards presentation.

On September 12, 2024, KGMA announced on its official website that the second-day performance lineup would be revealed shortly. The lineup hasn't been announced yet.

Fans can download the Fancast app from the Apple Store or Play Store to vote for their favorite artists from this year's nominations.

Here is the list of voting rounds where fans can choose to vote for the artists:

• Voting Round 1 — September 12 to September 30
• Voting Round 2 — October 2 to October 20
• Voting Round 3 — October 22 to November 9

Each vote will be counted as equivalent to 200 gold hearts and the artists with the highest gold hearts will be awarded for the specific categories at the 2024 Korea Grand Music Awards.

The voting will be calculated with 10% early voting along with 40% monthly voting (4 votes) alongside 50% KGMA main voting (2 votes) to determine the winner. Complete voting results are available on the FanCast app.
