Episodes 5 and 6 of Cinderella at 2AM premiered on September 7 and 8, respectively. They aired on the COUPANG Play network and Viki Rakuten app. The romantic comedy-drama Cinderella at 2AM, includes Shin Hyun-been and Moon Sang-min in the main roles.
The previous episodes of Cinderella at 2AM showed how Seo Ju-won (Moon Sang-min) continued to put efforts into bringing back Ha Yun-seo (Shin Hyun-been) in his life. But Yun-seo seemed adamant about her decision.
The latest episodes of Cinderella at 2AM show how the two brothers, Si-won and Ju-won, care for each other. Si-won supports Ju-won in winning over the love of Yun-seo. Episode 5 of Cinderella at 2AM also introduces the new character, Lee Seong-min, who seems to add more dramatic elements to this ongoing rom-com series.

Cinderella at 2AM episode 5: Lee Seong-min joins Ju-won's company as an artist
Episode 5 of Cinderella at 2AM starts with a flashback showing how Yun-seo’s colleagues ended up at her house. While they are there, Ju-won reaches Yun-seo’s house and tells her that he left his house. He then hugs her and all her teammates, her brother, and her friend sees them together.
They get to know that Ju-won and Yun-seo were dating each other. It also comes as a shock to Yun-seo’s brother that Ju-won is a third-generation chabeol (heir of AL Group).
While Ju-won and Yun-seo go outside to talk, Yi-rae mistakenly reveals that Ju-won’s family is against Yun-seo, therefore, they broke up. She tells them that the Chairwoman (Ju-won’s mother) threatened Yun-seo. Listening to this, everyone feels pity for her and begins to treat her differently.
Yun-seo's colleagues prevent Ju-won and Yun-seo from encountering each other. They intentionally separate them, causing Yun-seo to feel somewhat awkward, resulting in her shouting at them. While she is shouting at them, Ju-won sees her and follows her to the meeting room. Yun-seo informs Ju-won that she is planning to quit her job.
Ju-won stops her from doing so and decides to shift his office instead, to normalize everything for Yun-seo. Yun-seo, who is already annoyed, shouts at Ju-won. She tells him that he is so privileged and everything is just so easy for him, therefore, they can never be together. Ju-won replies to her that he cannot even imagine anyone else in his life other than Yun-seo.
In the next scene, Bae Jang-hui, Yun-seo’s teammate, requests that she meet someone. Yun-seo confuses it with a meeting for her new job, but it was a blind date. While Bae Jang-hui is talking about the blind date to the other teammate, Ju-won overhears them and goes to his office.
After her blind date, Yun-seo leaves work without informing anyone and also turns off her phone. While she is away from work, an emergency situation occurs in the office. The company has to urgently replace their hired artist due to some scandal. Ju-won takes charge of this situation and contacts a popular artist, Lee Seong-min.
After some time, Yun-seo turns her phone on and learns about the controversy. She rushes to the gallery, where Ju-won talks rudely about her irresponsible behavior. There she also meets the new artist Lee Seong-min for the first time. The way Seong-min introduces himself to Yun-seo and looks at him makes Ju-won suspicious of his motives.
Ju-won reflects on the flashback when Seong-min consented to join Ju-won's company after verifying Yun-seo's participation in the project. All of them keep working for the entire night and then leave the studio.
After leaving, Yun-seo grabs a coffee at a cafe, where Seong-min follows her and offers her to eat with him. She refuses and leaves when Ju-won arrives and tells her that he can’t live without her. This is where episode 5 of Cinderella at 2AM ends.
Cinderella at 2AM episode 6: Seong-min put efforts to come close to Yun-seo
Episode 6 of Cinderella at 2AM begins with Ju-won and Yun-seo standing face to face and the artist Lee Seong-min watching them from the side. Ju-won offers Yun-seo a ride to Han River, where she parked her car in the previous episode.
Seong-min interrupts and offers Yun-seo to eat with him. When Yun-seo refuses to join Seong-min and sits in the car to go ahead with Ju-won, Seong-min joins them and sits in the back seat.
While driving, Ju-won asks them how they know each other and also that they look quite close. Seong-min tells him that they started talking through a wrong number. Later on, he realized that Yun-seo was the same person who was sending him proposals to showcase his artwork.
In the car, Seong-min secretly asks Yun-seo if Ju-won is her ex-boyfriend. He also tries to show as if he and Yun-seo have a connection. He further adds that it was only because of Yun-seo that he agreed to exhibit his artwork. This makes Yun-seo a bit uncomfortable as she tries to keep her relationship with Seong-min professional.
After some time, Ju-won drops Seong-min at the subway, and he appears to be jealous of the closeness between Ju-won and Seong-min. After Seong-min leaves, Yun-seo tells Ju-won that she is feeling bad for how rudely Ju-won is behaving toward her.
Ju-won tells her that he behaved badly as he was disappointed that she went on a blind date. To this, Yun-seo replies that she went there by mistake, as she thought it was some kind of meeting for her job. Ju-won feels happy that Yun-seo feels bad when he is cold to her. He again asks her to come back into his life, but she gets annoyed and leaves.
Meanwhile, Yun-seo constantly receives messages from Seong-min, who believes it is due to fate that he met Yun-seo. Ju-won, who left his house after an argument with his mother, is currently staying at a hotel.
His brother, Si-won, comes to meet him and tells him to get a new place for himself rather than staying at a hotel, as it isn’t good for the company's reputation. He also tells Ju-won that his mother wants him to come back home. Before leaving, Si-won also tells Ju-won to move on from his breakup and focus on work.
The next day, Seong-min comes to the office and signs his contract with Ju-won’s company. Ju-won invites him to the staff dinner at night. Later, Seong-min tells him that he is interested in Yun-seo. Ju-won receives an urgent call, and he leaves for a meeting in Jeju with Si-won.
While in Jeju, Ju-won sees a photo of the staff dinner. In the picture, Yun-seo and Seong-min seem close, which makes Ju-won upset. Seeing him upset, Si-won sees the picture, and Ju-won asks him what kind of person is Seong-min.
Si-won tells him that he belongs to a family with a political background and that he left his lineage to follow his passion for painting. Si-won offers Ju-won the helicopter so that he can join the staff dinner, as Si-won knows how much Ju-won loves Yun-seo.
Ju-won reaches the dinner, and once again, both Seong-min and Ju-won try to prove themselves better than each other in front of Yun-seo. In this fight, everyone gets drunk badly. The next morning, both Yun-seo and Ju-won wake up at Seong-min’s studio.
Yun-seo yells at both of them for behaving so weirdly last night. She asks them to stop behaving in that manner and she leaves angrily. She forgets her wallet at Seong-min’s studio.
When Seong-min follows her and returns Yun-seo her wallet, she asks him why he is doing this. She tells him that he can’t toy with her as she recently broke up. Yun-seo, then, goes to her friend Yi-rae’s place and tells her that it is really hard for her to break up with Ju-won. It is hard for her to see Ju-won behaving coldly toward her.
In the meantime, the romance is blossoming between Si-won and his wife, Lee Mi-jin. She tries to harmonize Si-won’s relationship with his mother which impresses him. Following this, he gifts a book and a stuffed toy to her when she is packing for her Paris trip.
Seong-min gets caught up in a scandal for his artwork. Yun-seo leaves for the gallery and asks her team to cancel the artist’s event. At the gallery, Yun-seo meets Seong-min, and he tells her about his past.
He tells her how he always wanted to paint but his father was a violent person. He further explains that he was trying to reach out to the man who helped him escape his father, and mistakenly that was the wrong number, which belonged to Yun-seo.
He thanks her and also apologizes for landing her in an awkward position with his feelings. Seong-min then offers Yun-seo to paint with him. At the end of the Cinderella at 2AM episode 6, Yun-seo and Seong-min are laughing together, and Ju-won is watching them from a distance. This makes Ju-won upset.
The Cinderella at 2AM will release its next episodes on next Saturday and Sunday on the COUPANG Play network at 9 PM KST.
