"CONGRATULATIONS JIN" trends on X as BTS' idol's campaign shorts video reportedly becomes the most viewed on Visit Seoul official YouTube channel

On September 13, 2024, the "Feel Soul Good" campaign video featuring BTS' Jin reportedly became the most-viewed Shorts video on Visit Seoul's official YouTube channel. The short was initially posted on September 2, 2024, titled "Watching the Night View at the Hangang River with Jin."

Wearing a pink sweater, the eldest member of BTS begins the YouTube short asking the viewers,

"Want to enjoy the night view together here in Seoul?"

Then, the camera turns towards the fireworks over the Hangang River of South Korea. As of September 13, the Shorts video surpassed 12 million views in just two weeks since its posting.

Enthusiastic fans took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to congratulate the Epiphany singer, as the phrase "Congratulations Jin" trended on the platform, alongside other phrases related to the campaign.

"CONGRATULATIONS JIN" said one fan on X.

When the video was released, ARMYs took to X to praise the five-time Grammy-nominated artist's visual.

"He is very attractive and the way he speaks is so enchanting😍💜✨" shared one fan.
"This is the prettiest view we have ever seen... (Talking about the Seoul city night sky and the Face of Seoul hehe)" remarked another fan.

After the YouTube short became the most-watched on the channel, ARMYs again took to the social media platform X to express their congratulations.

"JINxVisit Seoul [Feel Soul Good] campaign shorts video is now the MOST VIEWED “Youtube shorts” on Visit Seoul's official YouTube channel! Surpassing 12 Million views in just 2 weeks!!" one fan shared.
"Makes us fall in love with Seoul, again!" wrote another fan.
"FUN SEOUL WITH JIN" posted another fan.
"Seokjin really is the freshest, kindest, most trustworthy and beautiful face a city can have" added another fan.

Feel Soul Good campaign featuring BTS' Jin

The campaign "Feel Soul Good" prominently features the singer-songwriter as the honorary tourism ambassador, aiming to showcase Seoul's rich cultural and historical heritage. By September 13, the campaign had released an official poster, three videos, and seven short clips featuring the BTS idol alongside some of Seoul’s most famous landmarks.

These landmarks include the historic Gyeongbokgung Palace, the iconic Namsan and Lotte Towers, the serene Hangang River, the vibrant streets of Hongdae, and various popular South Korean restaurants.

With the tagline "Feel Your Own Soul in Seoul," the Visit Seoul campaign seeks to create a personal and emotional bond with the city. It invites tourists to experience Seoul's unique essence.

The promotional themes, "Love, Inspire, and Fun," are woven through the campaign's episodes. The first episode, Love, debuted on August 29, 2024, followed by Inspire on September 5, and Fun, which premiered on September 12, 2024.

This marked the fourth collaboration of BTS with the organization. Before this, the group collaborated with Visit Seoul as Seoul's Honorary Tourism Ambassadors in the campaign titled “Live Seoul like I Do" in 2017.

Then, the "My Soul Seoul" campaign in 2022 featured BTS' eldest member alongside the group's leader, RM. In 2023, BTS member V (Kim Tae-hyung) collaborated with Visit Seoul in the campaign known as “Seoul, Make It Yours.”


In other recent news, the BTS idol is set to guest star in Netflix's upcoming variety show Kian's Bizarre B&B, which is scheduled to premiere in 2025. He will also reportedly release his solo album in the last quarter of 2024.
