The highly anticipated tvN drama Divorce Insurance confirmed its main cast, including the star power of Lee Dong-wook, Lee Da-hee, Lee Kwang-soo, and Lee Joo-bin.

Set to air in the first half of 2025, this unique office romantic comedy explores the world of innovative product development at an insurance company, focusing on a team working to create "divorce insurance." The show promises to delve into the monetary valuation of divorce-related scenarios and their impact on the character's personal and professional lives.

Lee Dong-wook will portray No Ki-joon, a divorcee juggling the emotional and financial burdens of three failed marriages. Despite his success as a professional, Ki-joon struggles with alimony payments and unresolved emotions, creating a complex, layered character.

Meanwhile, Lee Da-hee plays the female lead, marking her return to the small screen after her action-fantasy K-drama Island.

Lee Kwang-soo, known for his comedic charm from the Running Man reality show, steps into the role of Ahn Jeon-man, a risk analyst specializing in divorce insurance. Ahn, a divorced man himself, hides his emotional struggles beneath a pragmatic exterior. Lee Joo-bin will also play a pivotal role in the drama.

The series is helmed by director Lee Won-seok (Killing Romance) and penned by Lee Tae-yoon (Secret Royal Inspector & Joy), ensuring a balance of humor, emotion, and intrigue.

South Korean actor Lee Dong-wook's recent releases between 2022 and 2024 include the second season of Tale of the Nine Tailed, where he reprised his role as the gumiho (fox) Lee Yeon. He also starred in Bad and Crazy (2022), where he played Su-yeol, a morally ambiguous cop whose life takes a chaotic turn after meeting Ryu Soo-yeol (played by Wi Ha-joon), a justice-driven alter ego.

Lee Dong-wook remains globally renowned for his portrayal of the "Grim Reaper" in Guardian: The Lonely and Great God (Goblin), a performance that cemented his status as a top-tier Hallyu star. His Disney+ limited series, Shop of Killers, earned him added global acclaim for his acting and action range.

Lee Da-hee continues to shine with a string of successful projects. She gained popularity for her roles in The Beauty Inside and Search: WWW, which showcased her talent in romantic and contemporary dramas. She also served as a judge on Netflix’s hit reality dating show, Single’s Inferno (all 3 seasons), gaining praise for her charm and insights.

Lee Da-hee's character in Divorce Insurance has been kept under cover. It is yet to be known if she will be featured as the female lead opposite Lee Dong-wook or Lee Kwang-soo.

Lee Joo-bin, known for her roles in Queen of Tears and Money Heist: Korea, is also part of the lead cast of the upcoming tvN series, Divorce Insurance. However, her character graph hasn't been disclosed yet.
