Stray Kids is gearing up for their comeback in July with the album ATE, and the anticipation for the same is increasing day by day as the group continues to unveil exciting content. This song, named after the octet's name, which is set to be featured on the upcoming album, highlights the growth of the group throughout their six-year-long career.

The one-minute, twenty-eight-second video that unveiled a part of the song also covered significant instances of music videos from their early debut days to recent smash hits like District 9, Miroh, Blueprint, Hellevator, Megaverse, and many more. Moreover, it showcased some of the posters of the K-pop boy group’s world tour concerts and fan meetings.

The group paid homage to their career with the recent track teaser “Stray Kids,” with the lyrics implying their challenges in the last few years through music video parallels. It also focuses on their growth and their future with their fans.

Music video parallels in Stray Kids’ track teaser:

1. District 9

The latest track teaser showcased the infamous bus from their debut MV, District 9, released on March 26, 2018. The octet showed some powerful moves in District 9, donning all-white outfits as the bus was placed in the back. In the teaser, many cuts displayed the bus; one that caught everyone’s attention was Changbin standing on top of it.

2. Miroh

A cut from the track teaser displayed the eight group members walking around the filming location, which was depicted in the Miroh music video released on March 29, 2019. In Miroh, the members appeared to be fiercely facing new challenges; on the other hand, in the teaser of the upcoming song, the group appears to have achieved their goal, showcasing a liberated and mature version of the boys.

3. Hellevator

Hellevator was released on October 6, 2017, and the pre-debut track was also paid homage to in the teaser. The group embarked on their journey as a group taking the elevator in the Hellevator music video; a cut from the teaser showcased a scene where the group once again hopped on the elevator.

4. Grow Up

In the teaser, the group members are seen sitting on a bus, reminding the netizens of a similar scene depicted in the Grow Up music video, which was released on March 31, 2018.

5. Blueprint

The Blueprint music video released on June 28, 2020, illustrated two scenes that were referred to in the teaser. One scene where Lee Know wore a Blue blindfold in Blueprint was shown by Hyunjin in the upcoming song's teaser, where he removed the blue blindfold. The other cut, where Felix and Han lay on the ground with huge blue wings marked on the floor, was previously shown in Blueprint, where Hyunjin was the one who lay on the floor.

6. Double Knot

In the Double Knot MV, released on October 9, 2019, Hyunjin is seen running towards a particular object, which was revealed to be a key. The same key was used by Lee Know in the teaser on the elevator the members were on.

7. Mixtape: On Track

Hyunjin was seen using a digital camera in the Mixtape: On Track music video dropped on March 25, 2020. The Stray Kids teaser track showcased Hyunjin using a vintage camera, which reminded fans of the Mixtape: On Track MV.

8. Levanter

In the Stray Kids track teaser, a flash of a compass was shown, which took fans back to the music video Levanter, where the members were seen using a similar compass to navigate their way.
