Disney+ released the first Gangnam B-Side teaser recently on September 12, 2024. The upcoming mystery-action drama features Jo Woo-jin, Ji Chang-wook, Ha Yoon-kyung, and Kim Hyung-seo, besides other supporting cast. The show is set to premiere on November 6 via Disney+ streaming platform.
Before its official release, Gangnam B-Side, a crime investigation story set in Gangnam, has been invited to the On-Screen section of the Busan International Film Festival on October 2.

Gangnam B-Side, a Disney+ original series, was selected for the "On Screen" segment of the 29th Busan International Film Festival. It will premiere globally at BIFF on October 2. Tickets, which became available on September 24 at 2 p.m., sold out quickly, showing strong global interest.
For those unaware, the Busan International Film Festival is scheduled to begin on October 2 and continue until October 11. Gangnam B-Side will showcase the amazing performances of Jo Woo-jin, Ji Chang-wook, Ha Yoon-kyung, and Kim Hyung-seo.
The 45-year-old Jo Woo-jin has shown his acting skills in his numerous movies and series, including Narco-Saints, Inside Men, Happiness, Hard Hit, Default, Money, and more.
Ji Chang-wook is also a well-known actor who has won fans' hearts with both action and romantic performances. His significant works include Healer, Suspicious Partner, K2, If You Wish Upon Me, and Backstreet Rookie, which grew his popularity.
In 2024, the actor appeared in the romance Korean drama Welcome to Samdal-ri, as well as the historical and political drama Queen Woo. Ji Chang-wook also portrayed a negative role in the action thriller film Revolver, which was released on August 7.
The South Korean actress Ha Yoon-kyung will also play an important role in the upcoming series. In the past, the actress has worked in K-dramas like Extraordinary Attorney Woo, She Would Never Know, See You In My 19th Life, and more. She also played important characters in movies like Socialphobia (2014), Gyeong-ah's Daughter (2022), and Concerning My Daughter (2023).
Kim Hyung-seo, aka BIBI, is a 25-year-old South Korean singer and rapper. As part of her acting career, she has worked in movies such as Hopeless and Phantom, both of which were released in 2023.
The show is made under the direction of Park Noo-ri, who is known for her work in the movie Don, which was released in 2019.
Gangnam B-Side depicts the plot of a detective, a prosecutor, and a mysterious broker who are assigned the task of searching for Jae-hee, a club ace who has gone missing in Gangnam. The story is a criminal thriller in which three individuals become involved in the investigation of the mystery around Gangnam for a variety of reasons of their own.
Additionally, the other upcoming releases of Disney+ are Unmasked, Light Shop, Knock-Off, Hyper Knife, and Nine Puzzles. As of this writing, the official dates of these releases aren’t known, but they will be available for watch in 2025.
