Good Partner starring Nam Ji-hyun, Jang Na-ra Kim, Jun-han, and more aired episodes 3 and 4 on Friday, July 19, and Saturday, July 20 at 10 pm KST on SBS. The drama showcases womance through the story of a veteran lawyer and a rookie lawyer working together. The veteran lawyer Cha Eun-kyung played by Jang Na-ra is a meticulous lawyer specializing in divorce and has 17 years of experience.
Meanwhile, Han Yu-ri played by Nam Ji-hyun is someone who somehow started working at Daejeong law firm in the divorce department without her willingness to find herself working under Cha Eun-kyung. Cha Eun-kyung and Han Yu-ri have opposite personalities and values and often clash with each other. However, as a personal crisis takes place in Cha Eun-kyung’s life, Han Yu-ri becomes her “Good Partner”.

Good Partner recap 3-4: Han Yu-ri decides to take over Cha Eun-kyung's divorce case
Episode 3 of Good Partner picked up from the final scene of the previous episode, Cha Eun-kyung told Han Yu-ri that she was aware of her husband Kim Ji-sang's (Ji Seung-hyun) affair with her secretary Choi Sa-ra (Han Jae-yi). Cha Eun-kyung also revealed that she has no plans for a divorce.
However, on the 14th marriage anniversary, Kim Ji-sang asked Cha Eun-kyung to get a divorce as they had already drifted apart. Kim Ji-sang rather blamed her that she did not pay attention to their daughter and he was the only one who practically raised their daughter. Cha Eun-kyung stated she would do better and they should not get a divorce however Kim Ji-sang did not want to continue the marriage.
Meanwhile, Han Yu-ri wanted Cha Eun-kyung to take action and do whatever she could in her power, to go against Kim Ji-sang and Choi Sa-ra. Han Yu-ri learned that Choi Sa-ra lived in the same building as her and also figured out that Kim Ji-sang came to her house for dinner every night.
The next day, Han Yu-ri visited Cha Eun-kyung at Daejeong law firm, to submit her resignation from the divorce department. This was because Han Yu-ri believed she was not fit for the divorce department.
At the same time, Han Yu-ri gave her address to Cha Eun-kyung, telling her about Choi Sa-ra and Kim Ji-sang. Han Yu-ri stated that she did not want to be nosy but she wanted to show that she was on Cha Eun-kyung’s side.
Cha Eun-kyung went to Choi Sa-ra’s apartment and saw them together in the elevator, she followed them to the supermarket where they appeared to be a couple in public.
By the end of episode 3 of Good Partner, Cha Eun-kyung ran into Han Yu-ri at the law firm and told her that her resignation had been rejected because she wanted her to be her lawyer.
Cha Eun-kyung gave Han Yu-ri a pile of evidence she had been collecting. The former stated she wanted to make the “perfect divorce show”, out of her situation and was ready to go against her husband and secretary.
In Episode 4 of Good Partner, Choi Sa-ra and Kim Ji-sang received a plaint as Cha Eun-kyung had filed a legal complaint against the two for adultery. As Choi Sa-ra's plaint arrived at the Daejeong law firm, Cha Eun-kyung called her to her cabin and confronted her.
Kim Ji-sang called her asking what the plaint was about and shamelessly asked to end this with a settlement. Cha Eun-kyung ended up in tears and asked him to contact her lawyer.
Later, Han Yu-ri asked why she picked her as a lawyer, Cha Eun-kyung stated that she was the best lawyer when it came to divorce. However, due to differences in their thoughts and working style, Cha Eun-kyung needed a balance in this case. Han Yu-ri decided to represent Cha Eun-kyung as a lawyer.
After a trial, Cha Eun-kyung made Han Yu-ri run a personal errand which was to drop her daughter Kim Jae-hee (Yu-na) at her academy. Han Yu-ri complained about this to Jeon Eun-ho (P.O) as they had dinner and drinks together.
The next morning, Han Yu-ri found herself on a Motel bed with Jeon Eun-ho, she quickly sneaked out without waking him up. They met in the office but the situation had already turned awkward between them.
Following the legal complaint, Daejeon Law Firm CEO Oh Dae-gyu (Jung Jae-sung) came to the divorce department fuming with a new article reporting a rumor about Cha Eun-kyung, Kim Ji-sang, and Choi Sa-ra.
Oh Dae-gyu read the article loudly showcasing his disappointment in Cha Eun-kyung who is the face of the Daejeong law firm.
Watching this, her subordinate Jung Woo-jin (Kim Jun-han) intervened and asked the CEO to stop lashing out at Cha Eun-kyung even before checking the facts.
Cha Eun-kyung did agree that the article was partially true however after this Jung Woo-jin asked Oh Dae-gyu to calm down and take him outside the firm.
Kim Ji-sang met Cha Eun-kyung and tried to convince her of the settlement while using their daughter Kim Jae-hee as an excuse. He asked her to think about their daughter before applying for the litigation.
Since the last time Cha Eun-kyung saw Kim Ji-sang and Choi Sa-ra together like a couple walking free, she decided to not hold back this time and take revenge against them.
By the end of episode 4 of Good Partner, Han Yu-ri once again found herself watching two people seemingly in an intimate act in Cha Eun-kyung’s cabin. It is yet to see what happens next in Good Partner.
