Park Jinyoung, widely known as Jinyoung of GOT7, has reportedly been cast as the male lead in the upcoming drama Unknown Seoul (literally translated title), where he will star alongside renowned actress Park Bo-young.

According to an exclusive report by Sports Chosun via Naver on September 26, he has secured the lead role in the drama, marking his return to the entertainment scene following his military discharge, which is expected to occur by the end of October or early November 2024. This project will be his first after completing his mandatory service.

Jinyoung, who has built a successful career as a K-pop idol and actor, has appeared in several popular K-dramas, including The Devil Judge, The Legend of the Blue Sea, Dream High 2, and Yumi’s Cells.
His return to the small screen in Unknown Seoul is highly anticipated, especially given the impressive lineup of cast and crew attached to the project. He will be acting alongside Park Bo-young, an accomplished actress known for her roles in hit dramas such as Strong Woman Do Bong Soon, Doom At Your Service, and Concrete Utopia.
