On September 22, 2024, Jeonghan from the popular K-pop group SEVENTEEN held a Weverse livestream ahead of his impending military enlistment. The K-pop idol is scheduled to enlist in the Republic of Korea Army on September 26, 2024, to fulfill his mandatory service.
For the unversed, in South Korea, every physically fit male citizen is required to serve a mandatory service period of 18 to 21 months in the nation's military. Meanwhile, Jeonghan went online on Weverse to meet his fans, CARATs, one last time before his enlistment and assure them that he would return safely.
Over 1.1 million fans watched the live stream in real time. The Super singer said he intended to stay healthy and avoid getting sick.

PLEDIS Entertainment confirms SEVENTEEN's Jeonghan military enlistment date & the band's world tour dates
On September 12, 2024, SEVENTEEN's management, PLEDIS Entertainment, confirmed that Jeonghan would enlist on September 26. The company stated that the singer will appear in pre-recorded material but will not promote the group's upcoming 12th mini-album, SPILL THE FEELS, which is scheduled for release on October 14.
Additionally, PLEDIS Entertainment informed fans that Jeonghan will also be absent from the highly anticipated SEVENTEEN [RIGHT HERE] WORLD TOUR. The company further added in the statement that there would be no official event on the enlistment date and asked for continued support for the idol, saying,
"There will be no official event on the day of his enlistment, and we kindly request that you refrain from visiting the site of his military service. Please send your heartfelt messages of support for JEONGHAN through Weverse. We ask for your continued love and support for the artist. Kindly send your best wishes for his safe and healthy return."
