On November 8, BTS's Suga, also known as Agust D, made history as his 2020 solo album D-2 reached #1 on the iTunes Worldwide Chart in 110 countries. D-2 is reportedly the first and only hip-hop album of the 2020s to achieve this milestone.

BTS’s Suga, aka Min Yoongi's second mixtape, D-2, was released under the rapper name Agust D on May 22, 2020. Following his first solo mixtape, Agust D, in 2016, D-2 blends traditional Korean music with contemporary rap. The mix of genres and personal themes quickly garnered attention.
The track, Daechwita, drew global attention for its unique combination of hip-hop, trap, and traditional Korean sounds. Recently, the music video for Daechwita reached 15 million likes. D-2 features both Korean and English lyrics, with themes that explore contemporary issues and Yoongi’s life experiences.
The album offers listeners a look into his journey of self-reflection and growth. Commercially, D-2 achieved impressive success too. It peaked at No. 11 on the Billboard 200, becoming the highest-charting mixtape in the US, UK, and Australia, by a Korean solo artist.
