The seventh episode of the second season of Jinny's Kitchen 2, starring Park Seo-joon, Lee Seo-jin, Choi Woo-shik, and Jung Yu-mi, aired on August 9 at 8:40 pm KST. The newest addition Go Min-si has taken Kim Tae-hyung's place as the new intern.
The events of Jinny's Kitchen season 1 in Bacalar, Mexico, are followed in season 2 which takes place in Reykjavík, Iceland. Korean cuisine is available to visitors from all over the world, starting with the restaurant owner's specialty, oxtail soup. The crew, the seasoned manager, and the new intern are all responsible for the restaurant's smooth operation.
It is Choi Woo-shik's birthday and the cast has a surprise planned for him in Episode 7 of Jinny's Kitchen 2. Moreover, the cast has sent out a few invitations to the ones who helped them with the restaurant.

Jinny's Kitchen 2 Episode 7 recap: Invitation-only service and Choi Woo-shik's birthday
Seo-jun, Woo-shik, and Min-si cook dinner for the cast with the leftover food in episode 7 of Jinny's Kitchen 2. They leave the restaurant at 11:20 pm after a hectic day of work. Tired, they all retire to their bedrooms to get a good night's sleep.
The next day is Woo-shik's birthday. Yu-mi reached the restaurant early to prepare a surprise for Woo-shik. She gets busy making seaweed soup and curry for Woo-shik.
Seo-jun gets him a cake, a cute propeller cap, and a cake-shaped cap. Yu-mi and Woo-shik are assigned the grocery shopping duty. The cast starts preparation for the day with Woo-shik oblivious of the planned surprise.
Woo-shik starts singing the happy birthday song for himself as the cast does not hint at any celebration. He even talked about lying to his mother about having fun on his birthday. After leaving Woo-shik alone in the kitchen, they suddenly come with the cake and wish Woo-shik a happy birthday.
All of them gather at the table and have the breakfast Yu-mi prepared in the morning. A successful birthday party leaves Woo-shik feeling happy. They reminisce over the old days as Woo-shik asks Seo-jin how his 30s were and if he remembers anything special from when he was 34 years old.
The cast gets back to work again and prepares for the day. They have also arranged an Invitation Day for everyone who helped them set the restaurant up. Soon, people start flowing in and the cast gets busy with their usual duties.
Yu-mi and Min-si work in the kitchen while the rest handle the orders and billing. A famous chef, who is also the owner of the place, turns up to taste what is being served.
Soon, other invitees also start coming. The kitchen gets busy again as the restaurant is now full of people. The customers enjoy the food. Yu-mi and Min-si are quick in the kitchen and get the orders out on time. Yu-mi also introduces a new dish, Yuk-jeon mixed noodles (beef pancake noodles) as the day's special menu.
After having the desserts, the customers leave and the day comes to an end. Episode 7 of Jinny's Kitchen 2, ends with a video of Woo-shik doing his dance wearing the propeller cap Seo-jun gifted him.
