Episode 2 of Jinny's Kitchen season 2 debuted on July 5 at 8:40 p.m. KST, starring Park Seo-joon, Lee Seo-jin, Choi Woo-shik, and Jung Yu-mi. Kim Tae-hyung has been replaced as the new intern by Go Min-si.
While the series airs on tvN in Korea, fans outside of the country may watch it on Prime Video. Jinny's Kitchen season 2 takes place in Reykjavík, Iceland, following season 1's setting in Bacalar, Mexico.
In episode 2 of Jinny's Kitchen season 2, the staff gets ready for the restaurant's grand opening. Choi Woo-shik, the head chef, skillfully oversees the kitchen while it is packed with people. Next is the turn of Jung Yu-mi to be the chef of the day.
Jinny's Kitchen 2 episode 3: Jung Yu-mi's day as Chef of the Day
Lee Seo-jin chooses Jung Yu-mi for the next day, and the team heads home. Park Seo-joon prepares ramyeon for everyone, after which they head to have a good night's rest. The next morning, enjoying the view and making their vlogs, they reach the restaurant.
For Choi Woo-shik's hard work the previous day, Seo-joon gives him a star. Before starting the day, as is customary, Yu-mi reads aloud the five commandments, and the cast does a cheer to start strong. Seo-joon gets iced-americanos for everyone, and after deciding to have burgers for lunch, the team gets back to the preparation of the ingredients. While working, they chat about Woo-shik's day as head chef, and Min-si mentions his funny dancing through stress.
Min-si and Seo-jin have lunch first, followed by Woo-shik and Seo-joon. Yu-mi joins at last. When they go to open, they see people already lined up for the food.The three men get busy with the orders while Yu-mi and Min-si prepare the kitchen.
As customers flow in, the kitchen works in a stable and calm manner. Some customers require help with the way of eating the delicacies. Soon, the restaurant will be full again. Moreover, there is a waiting section of people as well. A family even comes with a newborn baby. With happy customers, the lunch service wraps up for the day.
Woo-shik and Seo-joon leave to get groceries and meat for the next shift. After they are back, the cast gets busy again. Min-si makes the rice and fried vegetables, while Woo-shik takes care of the beef. Yu-mi gets busy with the bibimbap, and Seo-joon and Seo-jin set the tables. As they open, the reservation customers enter, but seeing them walk in, other customers also enter.
There were four reservations for dinner. Getting confused with so many customers, Woo-shik calls Seo-jin for help. As he sorts them, he realizes two groups of reservation customers are yet to come, and hence a few of the waiting customers have to leave.
They figure that taking reservations is not a good idea and decide to stop doing so. As they take the orders, Yu-mi and Min-si get back to preparing the dishes. Episode 3 of Jinny's Kitchen 2 ends with a glimpse of what is to come.
Fans can expect to see a mix-up of orders and the cast trying to fix the confusion in episode 4 of Jinny's Kitchen, airing on July 19.
