On November 25, 2024, Ten Asia reported that South Korean actor Jung Woo-sung was in a long-term relationship with his non-celebrity girlfriend. These reports come amid news of his fathering Moon Ga-bi's child broke out. On November 22, 2024, Korean model, Moon Ga-bi, shared a picture with her baby on Instagram after being away from the industry and social media for four years.
Dispatch reported on November 24 that The King actor was the real father of her child although they were never in a relationship. The actor's agency, Artist Company, stated that they were trying to protect Moon Ga-bi's "precious life" when she became pregnant in June 2023.
Meanwhile, Ten Asia reported that the actor was rumored to be in a relationship with actress Shin Hyun-bin when reports of him dating another non-celebrity and Moon Ga-bi surfaced online. Reportedly, Jung Woo-sung and his non-celebrity girlfriend even went out on double dates with popular star couple, Lee Jung-jae (Squid Game) and 45-year-old chaebol heiress, Lim Se-ryung.

On November 25, OSEN reported The King actor's current non-celebrity girlfriend wasn't aware of his alleged affair with Moon Ga-bi. Jung Woo-sung's agency, Artist Company, issued a statement and said:
"Please understand that we cannot confirm this as it is the actor's private life. Please refrain from making excessive speculation. The child that Moon Ga-bi revealed through SNS is indeed Jung Woo-sung's biological child. We are discussing the best way to raise the child, and as a father, he will do his best for the child."
Jung Woo-sung allegedly refused to marry Moon Ga-bi and take the child's responsibilities, offering her money instead
Ten Asia reported that as per sources close to the actor, Jung Woo-sung allegedly dating Moon Ga-bi despite being in an official relationship with someone else invited public backlash. Moon Ga-bi reportedly wanted to marry him and have a family, however, Jung Woo-sung refused to get married to provide childcare. The model reportedly cut off all contact with him in October 2023.
She contacted him again in March 2024 during the birth of her son, but Ten Asia reported that the 51-year-old actor refused to take responsibility and offered her money. Moon Ga-bi is 35 and shares a 16-year age gap with the Tell Me That You Love Me actor.
On November 22, 2024, Moon Ga-bi returned to social media and posted:
"I just wanted to show my child the bright and beautiful world I saw the other day and I thought I would have to be brave to do so. [...] My post that went down without hesitation may not reach everyone's heart but at least I hope it will hear enough for the few people that support me."
She continued:

Jung Woo-sung is known for his roles in The King, 12.12: The Day, and Tell Me That You Love Me, among others. He is reported to attend the 45th Blue Dragon Film Awards which will be held on November 29, 2024. Jung Woo-sung has been nominated for Best Actor for his role in the Korean film, Spring in Seoul.
