Jung Woo-sung’s alleged texts to another woman surface amid his ongoing controversy of fathering Moon Ga-bi’s child

On November 26, 2024, Maeil Business Newspaper reported that Jung Woo-sung's alleged texts to another woman were exposed amidst his ongoing scandal about fathering Moon Ga-bi's child despite having a girlfriend. The publication revealed that the actor had previously texted a non-celebrity woman on Instagram, and the screenshots of those texts went viral on Korean online forums.

As per the screenshots, when Jung Woo-sung texted the unidentified woman, she asked if his account had been hacked by someone else. In response, the Tell Me That You Love Me actor stated that he messaged her after "accidentally" coming across her profile on Instagram.

"I accidentally looked at the (Instagram) feed and seemed like a person who enjoyed working and was good at it, so I held it in and said hello," the actor explained, as per Maeil Business Newspaper.

The 51-year-old then shared scenic pictures with her for two consecutive days and even asked if he could share his personal contact number. Meanwhile, Artist Company, the actor's agency, responded to the latest breakout story and said that it's "difficult to confirm."

"It is difficult to confirm SNS exchanges between individuals because they are in the realm of actors' personal lives," the agency stated.

Jung Woo-sung revealed fathering Moon Ga-bi's child and allegedly offered her money, denying responsibility

On November 24, 2024, Dispatch revealed that Jung Woo-sung is the biological father of Moon Ga-bi's child. The two had met in 2022, however, the actor never officially dated the Korean model, who has been inactive in the entertainment industry since 2020.

After Dispatch's exposé, Artist Company confirmed the news to OSEN the same day and said they were doing their best for Moon Ga-bi's child.

"The child that Moon Ga-bi revealed through SNS is indeed Jung Woo-sung's biological child. We are discussing the best way to raise the child, and as a father, he will do his best for the child."

Meanwhile, on November 25, 2024, Ten Asia reported that Jung Woo-sung had been dating a non-celebrity woman for the last 10 years. Close sources to The King actor told the publication that he would often take his long-time girlfriend for dinner with the celebrity couple Lee Jung-jae and Lim Se-ryeong.

Ten Asia further reported that Jung Woo-sung's girlfriend wasn't aware of him having an affair with the Korean model, Moon Ga-bi, in 2022, and having a child out of wedlock. Allegedly, Moon Ga-bi also wanted to marry him after getting pregnant in July 2023, but the actor refused to marry her and offered her money instead, which she turned down.

In March 2024, Moon Ga-bi gave birth to a boy and reportedly got in touch with Jung Woo-sung, who allegedly offered to find good postpartum care facilities but refused to take on the child's responsibilities and did not change his mind about marriage. On November 22, 2024, Moon Ga-bi returned to social media, posting a picture with her child and captioning it about trying to be brave for her son.

"I was such a poor-to-be mom with nothing prepared so I needed time to prepare everything but actually I think that was a coward's mom's choice. I am a mother who is still not perfect ready with the child who came into the world but regardless of my imperfections, I have made a vow to be a healthy mother filled with love and happiness rather than perfection."
