TXT
At the 2023 VMA, TXT (Tomorrow X Together) bagged their first MTV VMA award for Push Performance of The Year award with their song Single Rush Ride. They beat other nominees like Ice Spice (Princess Diana), Saucy Santana (Booty), and JVKE (Golden Hour) in this category.

Even though they did not win any awards as a group at the 2023 VMA's, it was still a moment of pride for BTS and K-pop fans as Jungkook got an award for his single SEVEN feat. Latto in the Song of the Summer category. This award was his first solo win, and he became the first male K-pop soloist to win the award.
BLACKPINK
The K-pop girl group got their third MTV VMA award at the 2023 VMAs for the Group of the Year category. They beat other nominees like FIFTY FIFTY, SEVENTEEN, Jonas Brothers, and Måneskin, to name a few. The group also won the Best Choreography award for Pink Venom.
BLACKPINK previously won a VMA in the Song of Summer and the Best Metaverse Performance categories. The youngest member, Lisa, was the first K-pop artist and first female K-pop artist to receive a solo award for her single Lalisa in 2022.
