On Wednesday, October 30, 2024, BABYMONSTER dropped the official music video of their new song, CLIK CLAK, at 13:00 (KST). The track is the lead single from their first full-length album, DRIP, released on the same day.

The album has double lead singles including the tracks DRIP and CLIK CLAK. Meanwhile, the official MV of the latter was produced by executive producer and founder of YG Entertainment, Yang Hyun-Suk. The rookie group became the first K-pop band to release their first full-length album within seven months of their official debut.

For the unversed, the girl group officially debuted on April 1, 2024, with their debut EP, Batter Up. Meanwhile, fans were impressed with the stunning MV and the filming of the entire video in monochrome. The members – Ruka, Pharita, Asa, Ahyeon, Haram, Rora, and Chiquita – each added their unique flair to the video.

Fans praised how the track was rap-heavy and flaunted the rapping skills of all members. One fan wrote on X:

"Babymonster started off so hard, letting y'all know who really running 5th gen, THEY'RE TAKING IT!"

Fans appreciated the track's beat and lyrics and hailed it as the "Song of the Year" (SOTY).

"I might get canceled for this but 'CLIK CLAK' by BABYMONSTER sounds like it’s been copied from somewhere? idk the beat, the lyrics, it all sounds familiar. Just can’t pinpoint exactly where I’ve heard it? wait, I figured it out, it sounds like the SOTY," one fan wrote.
"No matter what other say, BABYMONSTER they are complete performers & and nobody can doubt it. We love Baemon!!" another fan wrote.
"The last thing I expected is the outro to sound like this! It's so good and fun, and I'm assuming we'll finally get the dance break we wanted for so long!!" another fan added.

Since CLIK CLAK is the outro tune from their full-length album, several fans appreciated the song's ending segment with high praise.

"Atp I just feel like babymonster competes with themselves when it comes to outro CAUSE WDYM THIS GROUP HAS THE BEST OUTROS IN KPOP TILL DATE?!" one fan commented.
"The beat, instrumental, the delivery, black and white visuals, the yg vibes go hard. babymonster never disappoints," another fan praised.
"Whole mv in black and white.. just purely carried by the girls’ charisma and swag!!! BABYMONSTER IS TAKING IT," one other fan added.
