Love Scout, starring Han Ji-min and Lee Jun-hyuk, aired episodes 5 and 6 on January 17 and 18, respectively, on SBS. In Love Scout episode 5, Kang Ji-yun (Han Ji-min) wakes up in her office wondering if what she saw last night was a dream or not. She asked Seo Mi-ae (Lee Sang-hee) whether Yu Eun-ho (Lee Jun-hyuk) went to the office after the welcome party, to which she replied that he probably went home.
Kang Ji-yun further confirmed the same with Yu Eun-ho and he stated that he did not return to the office. Later, Yu Byeol met Kang Ji-yun at the bookstore, progressing a step in their relationship. Yu Byeol started to call her "unnie" (sister) because she liked her.
The next day, Kang Ji-yun found a sticker in her cabin that was on Yu Eun-ho's phone cover. She asked him again whether he came to the office the other day and if he remembered everything. He counter-questioned how much did she want him to remember. She stated she wanted him to forget about that day.

The next day, Seo Mi-ae planned a leading team's gathering at Yu Eun-ho's house, but Kang Ji-yun decided not to go. However, she ended up at his house and learned that no one had turned up because the gathering was called off.
However, Yu Eun-ho insisted that she stay, saying he wanted her to eat his homemade food. In the recent developments of Love Scout, Kang Ji-yun learned that her little friend Yu Byeol from the bookstore was Yu Eun-ho's daughter.

In Love Scout episode 5, Peoplez lost a potential candidate for a job, leading Kang Ji-yun to lash out at her employee Lee Gwang-hee (Ko Gun-han) for not doing his work properly. She assigned Yu Eun-ho to follow up with him on finding another candidate. Yu Eun-ho and Lee Gwang-hee collectively work and find product repairer Cho Young-sook (Kim Jung-young).
Later, when Kang Ji-yun visited Yu Eun-ho's place, she learned that he had grown up alone since he was in elementary school. They further shared playful conversation regarding his cooking skills, and Kang Ji-yun admitted he was good at it. While Yu Eun-ho attended a call, Kang Ji-yun dozed off on his couch.
Yu Eun-ho did not wake her up and she woke up to find herself in his house. Yu Eun-ho informed Kang Ji-yun that his daughter was on her way from a school trip and that he was late.
The two rushed out and entered the elevator. As they reached the ground floor, Yu Eun-ho and Kang Ji-yun faced Jung Su-hyeon (Kim Yoon-hye) with Jung Seo-joon and Yu Byeol. By the end of Love Scout episode 5, Kang Ji-yun learned that Yu Byeol was Yu Eun-ho’s daughter.
In Love Scout episode 6, Kang Ji-yun hid her face quickly and departed the elevator discreetly without getting caught by Yu Byeol. Later Kang Ji-yun asked Seo Mi-ae about Yu Eun-ho’s parenting, and she revealed that he raised her alone after his divorce.
According to Seo Mi-ae's husband Kang Seok, Yu Eun-ho and his ex-wife were a popular campus couple who married right after graduation. They parted ways before when Yu Byeol was a newborn.
Meanwhile, Yu Eun-ho at home painted Yu Byeol's nails as she wanted to show them to her cool sister from the bookstore. Yu Byeol promised that she would introduce her someday.
In the next part of Love Scout episode 6, Yu Byeol met Kang Ji-yun at the bookstore after returning from school. As Jung Su-yeon’s mother could not find her at the store, they believed that she had gone missing. Yu Eun-ho received a call regarding the same, and he rushed out to find her.
On his way, Yu Eun-ho got a call from Kang Ji-yun that Yu Byeol was with her and that they were at the hospital. Yu Byeol got into a minor accident while following a cat on the street. Yu Eun-ho also found out that Kang Ji-yun was Yu Byeol's cool sister. He thanked her for bringing Yu Byeol to the hospital, and in response she asked him to stay with his daughter for the day.
Later in Love Scout episode 6, Kang Ji-yun returned to the hospital with a meal for Yu Eun-ho and asked him if he is alright. Yu Eun-ho felt lost due to the situation Yu Byeol was in. Kang Ji-yun reassured him that he was doing his best as her father and that all he needed was to stay by Yu Byeol's side just like he had been doing.
As the episode progressed, Kang Ji-yun received a custom-made business card holder, and Yu Eun-ho received piano recital tickets from Cho Young-sook after she successfully secured the job. Yu Eun-ho asked Kang Ji-yun to accompany him to the recital. However, as usual, Kang Ji-yun declined.
By the end of Love Scout episode 6, Kang Ji-yun was seen outside the venue of the recital waiting for Yu Eun-ho. As she saw him come towards her, she realized he was more than just her secretary for her.
